Flotsam And Jetsam - Broadstairs - Photo album

Visited this place first time and I had deep fried soft shell crabs and chips. The sauce I picked at first was garlic but the staff recommended miso mustard sauce and he was right. Miso mustard sauce went very well with the crabs & chips. So delicious I would say. The chips were super tasty. I came
Fish and chips bar of the adjacent Wyatt and Jones restaurant. Short and efficient menu: SeaFood & Frites. Delicious squid tempura and fries. Check your order on collection. Beware of seagulls when you reach the beach.
2021 during lockdown: I'm giving it 4 stars because there's no option for 4.5 stars. The fish was amazing, the fries were great - but the wait was long and the food very very salty.
It’s the most creative fish and chip shop that I’ve been to in the UK. The mussel popcorn and miso mustard are sublime.
Nice place with an interesting menu, not your usual chippy! It is busy during the summer so wait times can be long. I ordered the monkfish scampi with squid ink batter plus a truffle mayo dip - both very very tasty. I also tried my friend’s chips but they were disappointing. Calamari and cod cheeks
Best fish and chips I’ve ever had in my life. A must visit when you’re in Margate or the area. Fish was so fresh and the chips were spot on, not to mention the incredible selection of sauces
It may slightly posher than traditional chippers, but it's worth it just for the added touches. Monkfish in ink squid batter was excellent, and the chips perfect. Friendly staff too.
Walked in on a day trip to Broadstairs. Loved it . Very good value for money. I had the crab dumplings and my partner the frito misto. Both of us loved the food and the staff were so friendly.
Really enjoyed the frito misto, Crab mayo was good too. Crab dumplings were OK. The seagulls are a nightmare so be very careful when walking out the door
Bangin' frito misto!
