Great local coffee shop. Cakes are very good. Probably a little on the expensive side but good quality. Wish they were open a bit more, limited hours and only open certain days (maybe there isn’t the demand). Staff are very friendly.

Staples offer a delicious range of home cooked pastries and cakes as well as an excellent latte! The service is first class and the ambience comparable with the food choice, village location and customer profile. Well worth the walk from the beach to check out.

This dream couple are every chefs dream. He makes the best sourdough in the UK (fact) They work so hard to make the best products and it shows. I can also say that the pastries/cookies/sausage rolls are next level. Stephen I can’t thank you enough for suppling my kitchen with the magic you produce.

I don’t partake of the pastries or sandwiches, however I can highly recommend the coffee! The staff are also awesome

Incredible place, fantastic service, beautiful breads, amazing sweets and if you haven’t had a “cruffin” (a croissant baked in a muffin tin, filled with creme pate), go treat yourself! We made a special trip this morning to have drinks and pastries. We were not disappointed. The cruffin was delicious, as were the vegan millionaire shortbreads and BLTs. Thank you!

Tucked away on a residential street is this gem of a coffee shop. It has plenty of seating inside, space for bikes out front and the most delicious coffee, cakes and sandwiches.

When I lived in Westgate I used to go and get the almond croissants and generally really delicious pastries. When I moved away from Westgate, it was definitely something I missed so I'm so pleased to have Staple around the corner again. The pastries are all very delicious, the coffee is superb and t
