This is our local answer the food is good and delivered in good time. Value for money. Staff always friendly and helpful with a good atmosphere when we have ever been.
Just like any other Wetherspoons cheap and cheerful and you kinda know what you're getting. Now I was going to give this place 3 stars then thought to myself hang on I'm being quite harsh and raised it to 4 but I couldn't ever give it 5 as who likes a soggy naan ? So I came on curry night and got a curry, rice, naan, poppadoms, mango chutney, vegetable samosa and an onion bhaji with a pint for a 10er. Everything started well then the food came out. The curry was nice and to be fair most of it was ok. The samoas were over done and like I said the naan was soggy and I mean really soggy. Haven said all that I had to remember I'm not in a curry house so take it for what it is and it was ok and amazing for a 10er... So corrected to 4 stars... Sort your naans out and you may get 5 next time!
We were staying in Poole We R Weatherspoon fans Poole Quay is OK but this is much better though very busy .plenty of seating despite being so busy service was quick quality as you expect from Weatherspoon.
When I came here with my work colleagues I wasn’t expecting much but I must say I am surprised with the great service I got. I ordered the buttermilk chicken burger which tasted really good for a Wetherspoons, if I was in a proper restaurant I would have expected a little bit more from it but it was great value for what I paid for. The service was fast and the staff were very friendly. We ordered loads of drinks and they all came quick and were up to our standard. I would definitely recommend this as one of the better Wetherspoons around the area
Lived locally for a few years but never actually ventured here until the other week. Great little pub which is far cheaper than most, and at the same time the food is well above average compared to the local venues. Will be back!
Great value mains and prompt service but why are the desserts now so expensive? £5.70 for an apple pie is ridiculous. All chain restaurants and pubs have, understandably, raised prices but none to this extent for a basic pud.
Lovely staff nice outside seating good food for what it is but at the end of the day it's still microwave wetherspoons. A very nice one though :)
Typical Spoonies, busy yet functional, food is priced correctly and edible. Drinks as always are correctly priced and not over inflated as per other venues. Staff working hard.
I visited The Blackwater Stream on Monday 3 February 2020 in the afternoon, a weekday during term time. I was with one other person. I've visited this Wetherspoons pub a number of times recently - it's one of the finest Wetherspoons locally - all the benefits; ordering via the app, coffee on tap, really keen prices and good food, but also a nice bright premises and great service.
I parked in the pub car park, which is pay and display but only £1 for an hour - parking was easy.
The restaurant comprises of one fairly large sized main dining area with plenty of tables. Using the app makes ordering really simple then everything is delivered to your table quickly and efficiently.
The team were very friendly and welcoming and I had no issues - we got everything we expected in good time and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
I enjoyed nachos and a warm cookie with ice cream, which was particularly awesome! The food arrived hot, was well presented and tasted really good. There was a good selection of food and I found something that appealed to me easily. The food was very good value for money, as always.
Overall I really enjoyed my visit and will definitely visit again.
Buzzing on a Thursday night with plenty of seating and a variety of draft options. Staff were nonchalant but not impolite. Large menu with inexpensive pub fare. There was a wait for the food but it was expected and the bar staff advised us of it. Burger was nothing to write home about but on par for the price. Clearly a popular local option.
Excellent food, generous portions and helpful, kind staff. I would definitely reccomend it and we will be back. Mamy thanks
Having to pay to park for your food and drink if you are dining in weatherspoon poole they should deduct the cost of the parking charge from your meal other than that nice full English breakfast
Value for money, popular pub with low cost pints. So busy it's hard to get a seat in evenings. When we do, it would be nice if the tables weren't sticky, needs a deep clean.
Only 4 stars because the food comes lukewarm but is very nice. Also the tables are a bit sticky but not as much as the Wimborne ones. (Soz Wimborne)
