The Mount Inn At Stanton

Beautiful setting overlooking Stanton Village and saw sun set. Pip and team were very friendly. I had duck comfort and a beautiful large array of green vegetables best any restaurant has supplied . Mum has sea bass followed by a huge meringue Eton mess and I had a delicious lemon tart. Would definitely recommend it. Plenty of gluten free options too.

We had a very pleasant evening here. The views are lovely, staff were friendly and welcoming and the beer was good. Food was pretty average, pub style fare so I'd recommend sticking with standards rather than ordering anything fancy. Also a bit annoying that despite having an iPad for menu there were still items that were unavailable that we were not informed about.

Highly recommend .. that you book. We didn’t and had to wait for a table outside, only to be offered the outdoors menu when we sat. The indoor menu looked amazing. Nevertheless the fish n chips we ordered was indeed really really good. Would give it 5 stars if the restaurant allowed for ordering food from the complete menu. It has spectacular views across the town and onto cotswold. After your meal/ drinks recommend walking around town. Very beautiful and quaint!

Wow. What a wonderful little restaurant, an unexpected find in the Cotswold town of Stanton. Perched high on a hill, the Mount Inn offers a beautiful view, excellent service and outstanding food. (Featuring locally sourced produce). Visiting from the USA, we are exploring many English towns and local restaurants. This one is a standout.

Excellent food in a stunning location. We picked this out without knowing the area as we were travelling on the Gloucester-warwickshire steam train. The setting is beautiful, you drive through a quaint little cotswold village up the hill and there is the pub. It has ample seating outside, big car park and a stunning view. The food was delicious, the roast pork was one of the best I have ever had - the crackling was perfect, soft and Crunchy all at the same time. The apple sauce was also divine. No complaints from my family who were equally pleased with their Roast Beef, Gammon, egg and chips and beef burgers. Pavlova was so tasty, very fresh. Portions are large which we loved 👍👍 The staff serving us were friendly and helpful.

A great place recommended by a friend, we had the best food and enjoyed a fantastic view there ! Food was absolutely delicious , if you’re looking for a traditional English pub experience I think it’s a great idea to try it. Due to online reviews I was a bit worried we can’t get a table because they don’t read emails? In fact we received an email back very soon and managed to get a table booked. Thank you for the lovely lady and gentlemen who served us today and gave us a lot of help with our baby . The only downside was they don’t have baby chair.

Make sure and contact them ahead of your visit or they will not be able to accommodate you for food. With a pre-booking we were treated like royalty. The fish and chips are a very good choice and for dessert we recommend the sticky toffee pudding. The views from the deck are great but we arrived from our walk just as the rain moved in so we took a seat at a window. After our lunch the rain moved on and so did we.
