Service is good and good quality food items. Lots of good selections of veg and food products. Need to open till late. Closes at 8pm.
We never shop here so when we entered we were a little out of our comfort zone, we approached an assistant to ask for help. A young Irish girl, I'm unsure of her name i think she said her name was nieve (don't know if i spelt that correctly)?
she was extremely pleasant. Polite and an absoloute joy. We felt like we had our own personal assistant. What an asset to the company she is!
Quality of the food is exceptional. And the service provided was excellent, this will be our new go to if service like that is provided at all times
Brilliant shop. Well stocked shelves, great choice. I find staff friendly and helpful. Haven't used café for a while so can't comment on that, but otherwise a pleasant shopping experience each visit.
Good local store with an acceptable range for its size. Could do with a better selection of vegetarian options
A good food store in the busy Croft Retail Park, probably best for a top up shop, which is what I did. Nice cafe there serving lovely coffees, a limited range of heated snacks and cakes!
Great store, helpful staff. Please stop squeezing the white gluten free loaves onto a shelf that's too small as it only damages them. Trying to get them out without damaging them even more is very difficult.
Great quality food, which is worth paying more for but they do have some more affordable items too. The fresh fruit and vegetables are excellent. Lovely staff who are happy to help.
Not only is the food great here with the usual M&S excellence, but they have very caring staff too. When my 94 year old Mum fell in the store last week we were very well looked after while waiting a long time for the ambulance. The lovely manager has also called me twice since to enquire after Mum who is now recovering well in hospital after an emergency hip replacement. (Just to clarify, she simply overbalanced, no liability for the store) Thank you again to all of you who took such good care of us both last Thursday and for your thoughtfulness, Sandra.
Lost car keys. Staff were so helpful especially James, who spent so much time on the floor searching!. I found them in a pocket when I got home! Highly embarrassed! Thank y so much.
I was served by Jane today 24/11/2022 excellent customer service. Polite and friendly she went above and beyond to help her customers and also spoke to her regular customers, giving them a moment of her time even though she was very busy.
I visit this store every Wednesday for shopping and always stop in at the coffee shop with my grandson. Sandra is so welcoming, polite and helpful and knows my order before I have to ask! She is a credit to Marks and Spencer. Full marks for customer service.
This is a great little shop. We go here every Sunday to pick up food for my son for his lunches through the week. The food is good quality with lots of variety. But what makes the difference with this store is the staff they are fantastic, very friendly nothing is too much trouble for them. They make shopping a pleasure. Smiling faces even when they have been in work from 5:00am.

One lady member of staff doing a fantastic job . She had to serve, clear tables and help people with contract tracing all on her own and cafe was busy with people waitingand she did it very efficiently and kindly. No stars for management for putting her in that position.
Lovely lunch in cafe with husband including nice pot of tea. Leaving my husband sitting in cafe as not very well whilst doing my shopping. Great male assistant packed all my shopping whilst I went to check on him. Still miss Birkenhead store. Food excellent lambs liver for dinner was very tasty all for £1.
