Accommodated 30+ for a birthday meal staff where fantastic and a plus was vegan ice cream so my diary intolerant niece and nephew could have a dessert with us not many places cater for dairy allergies.

My son Padraig celebrated his 4th Birthday Party at the Royal Oak ,Bromborough from 10-12 today. I can honestly say it was a beautiful experience and the service level was stellar. From the moment we walked in there was a host to hand, to make sure our son had the best time we could have imagined. Stress free and well executed party planning was at hand here today. A special mention must go to Jen Bather for making it the best party we could have hoped for. It was simply quite amazing Thanks so much xxxxxxx You are crazy if you dont have your special one's party here!

A nice pub, really friendly staff. Caught lots of lovely sun in the beer garden. Can't comment on the food or hotel area as we only stayed for a couple of drinks but we had a nice time. Its not our usual local (which is also a hungry horse) but we were in the area for a couple of days and thought we'd give it a try. Will definitely be back next time we're here and give the food a try. *Edit* We came back for a breakfast this morning and it was absolutely spot on... especially for the price and 2 for 1

Just can not find fault in anything here. Staff absolutely amazing. Rooms spacious and clean. Food was lovely. Not expensive. What's not to like. Thanks to all at the royal oak for making our long journey up from Cornwall a lovely weekend ❤️

Would have given it a 5 star but went there with my little daughter and partner for a meal at about 1pm to find little to no separation between the bar locals who had been drinking for some time it seems, and the food area, we ate quickly and left as I didn’t feel comfortable with my daughter exposed to such fruitful language and broad topics of conversation. (Most polite way I can put it) so great if you fancy a beer and a banter, not so great for a relaxed family meal. Otherwise everything else was nice.

Nice hotel, although a couple of minus points. Plusses are Friendly & helpful staff, Decent size room, Comfy bed, clean & tidy, nice size bathroom, good pub attached food was excellent & service great. Minuses Shower didn't work properly in my room - water was scalding hot with no cold coming through to lower temperature ( mixer tap not working) - lady on reception allowed me to use an unoccupied room for shower tho. Soundproofing not great - I could hear next door room & also upstairs alarm & them walking around which was annoying as I was working nights & not long been asleep. Other than these two things an excellent stay & would happily go back again when working up this way.

Cheap and cheerful, good food, super friendly staff, we had a family room, which was clean and comfortable, our room was surprisingly quiet, even though we were in the main corridor and near the road/carpark, we all slept well, the ONLY gripe I had was lack of power sockets in the room, we had multiple device to charge and had to take it in turns. We managed though. We booked here because we wanted somewhere cheap to bed down after travelling 5hrs to meet our new puppy, we will be booking again for a few weeks time when it's time to collect him so we don't have to do all the driving in one day.

So out of all the hungry horse pubs we go to this always seems to be the best one, when the food comes it's like they do a little bit more / put a bit more effort into it and chips ( with Korean burger ) come with flavouring on them but only here.!! Like the chef is actually bothered to make the food taste nice 👍🏼

We only went for a quick Hungry Horse lunch and actually we were pleasantly surprised. Food was nice, service was quick, staff were friendly and helpful and prices very reasonable. Couldn't fault anything really. The table in the booth we were in could have done with a fresh coat of varnish...but that was the only improvement I could think of really....not much is it?

Basic rooms but for the right price. Staff in the pub for evening meal are amazing and went well out of their way to accommodate to our needs. Food portions are big, tasty and well worth the money.

We have been going to the Oak for years, and it has always been a nice place to go with friendly staff. We went more recently with the family, and honestly, it was so good!! The food came so quickly, and it was awesome! Hot and fresh and very tasty. I had the crown of burgers as I could decide what I wanted, and it didn't disappoint. My mum, who can be very fussy with her food, had the Korean chicken burger, and she cleared her plate. (A rarity for her) A big thanks to all the staff and chefs they work so hard.

A nice friendly family pub serving clean beer and decent food. There's a small indoor soft play that's free for the kids and an outdoor park in the summer. Prices are fair, parking is free
