first visit, Great Staff beyond welcoming and helpfull, good food not silly prices, felt like we were regulars, old fashioned dated and warm character pub, dog and family friendly, and footy too !! will be back very very soon.

I have been know to spend quite a few Saturday afternoon / evenings in this local pub. Busy most days of the week especially when there is football on. Several large television screens dotted around the pretty small, cosy pub make it almost impossible for you not to watch the match. The selection of beers is the best in the area, the only possible omission is Peroni on draught but now I am being picky. The prices are probably below par for pubs in the local area which is probably something to do with the popularity. If you like your space and to sit down in the pub this probably isn't your place on a Friday or Saturday night as it gets very busy and seats are almost impossible to find. However if you're not that bothered about that like me then there's nothing to worry about!

I could be accused of being favourable in my reviews of local pubs, but I simply review them for what they are trying to be and what they do. The Flag is in a great location in Bromley Cross and provides you with a good mix of local craft ale and your favourite big brands. It also has a nice mix of punters, not just the young crowd or the old men, but a good blend of young and old stopping in to enjoy the live sports on TV or live music on a Saturday night. They also serve food and have a decent menu serving your usual pub grub. Most meals come with a deal option in which you can add a pint of lager or a soft drink for an extra £1.50. There is nothing elaborate about the pub in general but it's an old favourite for a nice pint with friends. Landlord is always about the place and a friendly chap, and prices won't see you out of pocket!

Spent great evening having drinks and a meal. Good value and great food. They have a good selection of hand pulled ales. The staff are very helpful and friendly. It's good to see a "local" busy mid week.

This is a pub. With good, hot, pub grub. Excellent selection of gins and beers plus many more drinks. It is not fine dining, but, it was a lovely pie and chips and the welcome is excellent. Biscuits for our dog and a bowl of water for him. Friendly and happy staff. Really traditional pub. There are screens for sports matches but unless a big game is on, they are unobtrusive. As a new dog owner, I have found somewhere that I can't wait to return to. Not been at night for over 10 years so can't comment on nights at the flag

I go here quite regularly as its the local for my parents. The selection of beers is great and the staff seem to know about all the guest ales and can advise me on what I might like to try. The food is good quality pub food, and I love the atmosphere with the locals and their dogs!

The food was outstanding, especially the Yorkshire pudding wrap, really good value as well as you'd pay 3 times as much a mile up the hill. Oh and the girl with multi coloured hair and the Pikachu tattoo pulled the best pint I've ever had, not a single drop of beer down the side of the glass!
