The Sutherland Inn - Brora - Photo album

Overall good value for money. The staff was friendly and helpful (at least in the evening when we arrived - the morning staff seemed a little grumpy and short). The rooms were okay while being a little outdated. Our toilet flush didn't work properly and overall the shower facilities didn't make the
Old fashioned but comfortable. Good bar menu. Useful overnight stop. No private parking.
A lovely 2 night stay in the centre of Brora. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Excellent full Scottish breakfasts (try Ryan's porage). The evening crowd in the bar were a friendly bunch. Will definitely stay again.
Great stay here, lovely staff and owners, clean rooms, great food,. Thanks for a lovely stay
Popped in here for dinner on our nc500 journey. Could not have been more welcoming. St Patrick's day menu was delicious! Thanks for your hospitality
Very friendly and talkative staff. Breakfast and dinner were generous portions. Specific note to the fish and chips which were excellent, the burger however was a little dry. Rooms were a good size, water pressure was good and the temperature of the shower once it heated up was excellent. Overall
Had a few drinks in the bar on Tuesday, nice and cosy. Decided to eat in here on Thursday night with my better half.. Thai butternut squash soup and Haggis Bon Bons to start , both were very very good, followed by Mushroom Stroganoff and southern Fried Chicken, both dishes homemade and were excel
Convenient location, friendly welcoming staff, clean warm room, and a great breakfast. Our first visit to the Sutherland Inn, we are always on the lookout fir a dog friendly location to stop en-route to the ferry, this was definatly one of those. Many thanks
Very good value for money, huge breakfast, and a young team that went out of there way.
Riding the NC500 and the weather was atrocious, wet windy and cold. We popped in on the off chance and Rosie was in early, she had the fire going to keep us warm and help dry our kit out. A rest stop well needed, with good Guinness on tap, friendly staff. If in the area it’s well worth a stop!
Had an evening meal, table for 7 with dog. Food was first class, large portions, and a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Great to see youngsters from the local area being given employment opportunities too! Lovely meal, prompt service, clean and tidy restaurant. πŸ˜πŸ‘
Very dog friendly. We went here to watch the euros final on our trip around NC500. The woman behind the bar was so accommodating and friendly. The food was great in the restaurant with generous portions. Worth a visit if passing through.
The food was very good. My husband had the sea bass special. I was a bit leary of ordering it in a small hotel, however, it was delicious. I had the fish and chips and found them to be very tasty. The young wait staff was very attentive. It was a nice place to eat on a rainy evening.
Welcoming Inn, with friendly staff, went in for one drink... stayed for a few more, lol
