Came here as one of our random Sunday diners and this place was recommended on Leicester Live so thought we would try it out.
Place looks lovely with a large outside area (with bar), parking and a Brook running along the side of the pub and lovely staff.

Absolutely a great diner to go for. The food was delicious and with big portions. Very reasonable price. Superb service and I really like the spacious but cozy ambience in the restaurant. Highly recommended.
Good food, burger little on the small side but tasted great. Steaks were cooked as requested and nice cuts. Did take a little while to get served considering how few people were in. Nice setting with the river running through by outside tables.
Good old fashioned roast dinner, consisting of roasties/yorkie pud and a mixture of meats, I had the mixed roast which was 1/2 a roast chicken and beef and my daughter chose the beef, was enjoyable

Nice meal for 4 adults on a weekday lunch. The pub was surprisingly busy so I would recommend calling before going. Food was tasty and hot, service was great.

Nipped in for lunch and was seriously impressed by the upgrade to the place, the menu choice and the service, which was outstanding

No booking, looked busy, but seated at a quiet table for 2 by a very polite member of staff. Drink order taken quickly whilst perusing the menu. All in all a great experience, highly recommend.
Wow, what a lovely experience. Food was fab and service excellent. A place with personality. Friendly, helpful staff who looked after our needs fabulously. Will be returning but probably without the grand kids next time.
Went for dinner completely by chance and because we felt welcome and comfortable ended up having all 3 courses on A Tuesday. Brilliant. Impressed throughout. Will definitely return
