We had a Sunday roast at lunch time and it was awesome. I had the veggie roast which came with a potatoe and leek pie, all the veg was lovely and fresh, good variety too. Broccoli cheese, roast beetroot, mashed weet potatoes as well as the standard veg. Lovely gravy to go with it. My partner had the
Not the cheapest, but flavoursome decent portions. Well cooked and tasty. Some things seem a little high on price for what it is. But we'll presented and service was good. I would definitely return.
What a fabulous place for food, my wife and I are really big foodies so we love great food and that's exactly what we got amazing food cooked with love and care and the food was fresh and NOT ping food. and customer service was brilliant really warm welcoming and professional without the pretentiou
I had an errand to do nearby so popped into this pub with my wife for lunch, it's a gem. Friendly prompt service, pleasant airy decor and spotlessly clean. I had two well served pints of ale, a very very tasty wensleydale cheese and carrot chutney sandwich and a very good creme brulee. I shall be re
Linen napkin and lovely food. The member of staff who looked after us was informative, pleasant and efficient. Lovely atmosphere.
Terrific newly refurbished (Jan 2022) pub and dining rooms and B&B. We stopped for a quick snack on a windy Monday and were treated to excellent service and massive toasties (shown is Croque Madame and a delicious home made Scotch Egg with delicious marmalade chutney).
Party of nine for Sunday lunch, adults and children. Food just amazing and the service was excellent. Without hesitation we would return when next in the area.
Second time visiting this beautiful pub which we have used as the half way point on our Clarenden Way walks. We changed the direction of our second day walking so that we could finish there again as the food was so superb. The staff went above and beyond getting us to our meal which we were ever so
Flavour! Twice-baked cheese soufflés to start, followed by lovely pie, mash and veg... and the most flavoursome, full-on gravy I've ever tasted. All enhanced by great service and (for a change) nice, comfortable chairs.
All the staff pleasant and helpful even when extremely busy. Atmosphere great. Food interesting, well cooked and well served. A great chef (Ryan) and hostess (kerry. Thoroughly recommend for a special night out.
A late booking for 9 of us ! We had an area to ourselves! We all managed to find dishes to suit our diets... staff were fabulous! When we arrived the bar was busy and were warmly welcomed! Highly recommend !
Great lunch, good food and engaging staff
Nice place, with a cozy country pub atmosphere and feel. We only had buffet food at an event but was tasty and seemed made in-house. Worth supporting these local little gems
Wonderful, friendly pub. We brought our dog along and she was welcomed with treats. The menu all sounded amazing, but we both had fish and chips. It was absolutely delicious. Best pub fish and chips I can remember having! The locals are lucky to have this great pub on their doorstep, it has such a n
Just popped in for a couple of pints with a mate. Good service, well kept beer and interesting and chatty locals. A good local pub.
Wow! Such a wonderful little pub, a warm welcome and really friendly owners and staff. I was a lucky girl as it was my birthday, the chef/landlord treated me to try a new dessert he had created which was delicious and totally different! Would definitely recommend this place, the bar snacks were all
Very friendly staff and pub dog! Superb food. The roast on a Sunday is perfect. I couldn't fault it in any way. Will definitely return 😊
I've always enjoyed visiting and the food is brilliant, it's a lovely friendly village pub.
The staff at The Greyhound went above and beyond for us today. Having set out from Winchester on a long hike to Broughton the lure of their fabulous roast dinner was all the motivation we needed. Unfortunately we ran into difficulties and fearful we would miss the end of the lunch service the staff
