Super pub with a good mix of quirky locals and random tourists (mostly walkers). Remarkably good food and some innovative dishes as well as good trad pub food. Well decorated rooms and bathrooms, just lacking an invigorating shower but perfectly good enough.

Decent sized room, plenty of hot drink supplies and bottled water. just a tad cold with no/low heating and lightweight duvet. Staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Had a meal on the night which was very good. Plenty to eat for breakfast, cereals, toast, plenty of hot choices, juices and coffee. Great location with beautiful scenery. Plenty of parking.

We were recommended the Buck Inn by a couple of friends. Our stay was great, the room was large and airy, the bed was large and comfortable. The evening meal was great with plenty of meat. Our full English Breakfast set us up for the day The service all round was very good

Lovely pub. Nice atmosphere with 2 wood burners. Good selection of beers & cider. Food was delicious. We both had the sausage & mash which I would recommend.

Fabulous pub warm and welcoming, log burners roaring away. We had the Venison roast as our main, which was beautiful, the meat was cooked perfectly, and the yorkshire was massive. Would highly recommend and return one day.

We called at the Buck Inn because there were very few places open. There were two log fires burning so the place felt warm and welcoming. The staff were very welcoming. I was able to order a Coffee, a Tuna sandwich which came with chips and salad drizzled with balsamic. The food was very enjoyable and arrived quickly. We didn't need to stay over but I'm sure it would be enjoyable and romantic. There's plenty of walks nearby and it's near locations for All Creatures Great and Small filming.

We've been here a few times now. Great pub for walkers and dog owners. Great location just of the Dalesway and set amongst stunning Yorkshire Dales countryside. Food and drinks, as expected. Good value and substantial pub grub. Rooms are clean and more than adequate without being luxurious. Staff Great.

Lovely, warm pub. Log fires in all lounges. Didn't eat here but may well do so next time as the menu looked good.
