A very pleasant pub, I volunteer at the South Devon Railway and if I have time to kill waiting for the bus back to Plymouth I will pop into the Kings for a pint. Always received a warm welcome from the landlord, great selection of local ales with a pleasant lounge to enjoy the drink. Toilets are also always fresh and clean, top marks. Highly recommend.
Nice pub with some good local beers, a big screen showing sport and a pool table (free on Wednesdays). Dog friendly too.

Nice welcoming atmosphere. Varied local people , pool table. Tv screens 2 watch mainly sport. Open fire, lovely garden, sometimes music venue. ..well behaved.dogs also allowed.

Great range of local hand drawn ales at reasonable prices. Very friendly staff and locals. Good bands on music nights. The weekly quiz though is dull and needs revitalizing.

The barman was friendly and professional, and had an air that he was wise beyond his years and should have had a name like Bartholomew
My brother and his family stayed recently whilst visiting and the room was excellent and very reasonable. Very friendly. Totally recommend!
Great beer, lovely beer garden and a first class welcome whenever you go in.
Decent pint, friendly locals, pool table, quiz, sport on TV, enjoyed the live music, can't fault it.
