For this visit I actually am back here for the R and R burgers which is situated on the Horse and Jockey car park. Had one of the best burgers you can buy,all freshly made, not "bought in". I had the Bacon cheeseburger, chicken loaded fries,Chipotle sauce.... fantastic and could easily be 2 meals.
Superb value for money and well worth a visit( I travel each time from Chester) but definitely worth it.
Small, friendly pub. Pool table, Juke box, live music, TV sports, quiz nights and real ale. Very popular. Big screen sports. Dog friendly. Lovely landlady!
I work here so I know how friendly and helpful staff are..Nice and cosy old fashioned pub..It has all the sports events on.with huge tvs.

Went in for the first time last week Jack behind was very helpful and knowledgeable about the selection of beers. Kate behind the bar was average but very friendly customers
