Delightful home made cakes and coffee that's actually hot and tasty! Full marks, we would definitely come back. The owner is very hospitable and the courtyard great to imbibe the delicacies. I had the lard cake, now for an Eccles to takeaway! 🐷

Picked up a steak pasty for lunch here and it was tasty enough. I left an item behind and when I returned they had it behind the counter for me. Quite nice.

Before setting out on a hike from Burford, my husband and I stopped for sustenance at Bakery on the Hill. I hope to get back to the baker/cafe for the Eccles Cakes which were delicious and to try out other delicacies. They make a fine cappuccino too!

Had a lovely lunch at this cute Burford bakery. Wonderful bread and quiches and amazing cakes. The ladies that ran it were lovely.

Visited bakery on the hill burford for the first time today . We ordered some bits too take away , french bread and some cakes and was certainly not disappointed the bread was soft and crusty and the best almond crossiant 😋. Would of been 5 * but the service we received by the young girl on the till was underwhelming. No manners and very disinterested. Maybe she was new or maybe needs more training on customer service.

We had a late lunch time baguette and rolls plus drinks and they were excellent and we ate them in their lovely outside area.

Lovely little place serving good coffee and a reasonable range of cakes. Dog friendly which is always a plus.
