Right on the Quay this cafe is popular with locals and bikers alike. Fresh homecooked food at reasonable prices which can be eaten inside or out depending on the weather. An outside kiosk sells delicious homemade icecream as well as the usual whippy ice cream. The queues speak for themselves.

My Husband and I regularly visit relations in Burnham and we often go to the Cabin for our breakfast or lunch and have never received bad or unfriendly service even at the weekend when it can be very busy. We were told by the waitress that the food was homemade and they used local produce where possible, we thoroughly enjoy the food and find it value for money and would recommend it.

From first impressions you might be put off by the decoration of this cafe/tea room. It looks very small from the outside but is much more spacious inside. Once you have tasted the food you will forget the surroundings. One of the best fry ups I have had, the portion sizes are very very generous. Lovely afternoon tea as well. Staff friendly but it can very busy on a sunny day and especialy busy with all the bikers (generally middle aged men) at the weekend.

After a lovely walk along the sea path from the boat yard about a mile, we had lunch in the the Cabin Dairy we have eaten their before when visiting Burham on Crouch the food was very nicely presented and most of all tasty. We had a pot of tea which was also very nice tasting tea. They have a very good selection of foods from breakfasts and lunches sandwiches jacket potatoes etc. It's a popular place for bikers and people just looking for some nice food.

Popped in this afternoon for a quick lunch with three young children in tow to recharge our batteries before a walk around Burnham. We sat inside and while it’s not a large venue, we didn’t have any trouble finding a table (arrived at 2pm on a Saturday). There is a generous menu serving all day breakfast, sandwiches, rolls, paninis and main courses, as well as a limited kids menu. The staff were friendly and good with the children, and the prices were very reasonable. Having enjoyed our meal, we ordered some ice cream to go. Would happily return if I was in the area.

We always have an ice cream at this place, as do so many others, so prepare to queue for your turn. But it's worth it, the ice creams are very good and scoops generous in size. It seems a very popular place to eat also.

Really friendly little place. Sit in the town quay. Had meal deal of two fried eggs in/ on a cheese bap and a pot of tea for two.. With two full mugs of good tasty tea! Perfect after a long walk along the front.

Had a full English which was tasty. Staff friendly. Only bad point was the extremely slow service, even though it wasn’t all that busy. They decided to close the kitchen halfway through a service which left half of our group unable to order for nearly 45 minutes. The staff said that this was because the kitchen needed time to “catch up”, but it wasn’t even at full capacity. I’d suggest reducing tables outside if the kitchen is unable to keep up with it as it is - it’ll avoid disappointment for your patrons. Can’t fault the food, and although clearly stressed, the staff were truly very polite and helpful.

I went for lunch today with a friend who has recently moved to Burnham and we really enjoyed the food. I had a very well filled coronation chicken sandwich which came with side salad and crisps and I thought it was very tasty and good value. The pot of tea was a bit strong, I think there were three teabags in the pot, but it’s better than being too weak. Overall very nice.

Adore this place, I wouldn't go anywhere else for breakfast. The staff are so lovely and welcoming, they really take care of their guests. The food is always of a great standard as they only use local top quality products. Been there plenty of times now and have never had a bad experience. Love it

It was the hottest day of the year so far and the cabin dairy were trying to close early so the staff could enjoy some sunshine. But they still took our order to eat in, and didn't rush us to finish. So to sum up They look after the staff The service was good And the food was very nice
