Typical local pub, with friendly and helpful staff, but what is outstanding about this place is the quality of the food. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area looking for something decent to eat.
Lovely little pub. We was staying at Haven Burnham on Sea and wanted to go out for a good roast. Looked it up, couldn't find how to book a table but luckily we squeezed in at 1.10pm. They let us sit at a table that was booked for 2pm, we said we would be quick. For a wine, a orange juice, adult carvery & small carvery it was less than £25 and it did not disappoint! So tasty the beef and turkey was so juicy. My daughter demolished hers as did I. Great choice of meat - beef, lamb, pork, turkey & great choice of veg - broccoli, peas, sweetcorn, carrots, green beans, cauliflower cheese, parsnips and of course roast potatoes - which were amazing. Can add all the condiments you want such as apple sauce, cranberry, mint & horseradish and loads of gravy. Highly recommend!!

The food was very good value and all four in our party were satisfied with the service. We had seen some poor reviews and were concerned that we might be disappointed. Not the case at all. It may be different if there is football on one of the big screens, conversation impossible and slower service but I enjoyed my beautifully cooked surf and turf and would happily eat here again.
I've just popped in for lunch with my boys and whilst they only serve Sunday carvery on a Sunday I must say it's one of the best Sunday lunches I have ever had. For a large roast at £12 the portion was huge a great selection of meat I had lamb and turkey with all the trimmings. The gravy was insane I'm very full. My boys were happy with their ice cream and snacks. Lovely pub and will return again when we come for another holiday. Very happy satisfied customer thank you
Such an amazing pub! The staff were all lovely, the food was amazing - great serving sizes, could not complain about anything! Family friendly too! Would highly recommend going here for food!
Part of the local group of bikers that meet on Tuesday evenings 6pm until 9pm. We are a very friendly group of mostly mature bikers riding a mixture of trikes and classic tourers and some dantastic hogs .We travel from all over Somerset. It has a good atmosphere better than some bigger bike nights that loose that atmosphere. We welcome anyone to come and see our bikes or have a chat. We are very friendly as are the group organisers and Landloerd is very accommodating. The food is delicious. We are based around the side and back of the pub

Diamond in the rough this place! We stayed at the haven sight opposite the pub with our 5 and 8 year old. We visited 3 nights in a row, the kids loved the play area and bouncy castle, plenty of other children too. Service excellent, great value too! If you are in the area I would highly recommend
Amazing Carvery and cheap aswell it's like a Tobery Carvery at half the price yummy 😋
