Great little regional theatre but my 29 inch inseam legs and size 11 shoes don't make the most comfortable of experiences, which is a shame. Rows D and E are my preferred places to sit. Nonetheless, friendly staff, nice little cafe and a feeling of intimacy that comes with the size of the place. Have enjoyed my visits here, even if not the most comfortable.
First time at the Princess in Burnham on sea. A great venue. Discovered a car park behind the premises after parking in the street. Speaking with the usher turns out there's loads of bands and events here. I went to the Bowie experience. It was amazing. Highly recommend anyone seeing this show. In the venue there's toilets a bar however not many seats or tables in the bar area. The room the show was on had loads of seating. A row at the front at ground level with the rest on multiple levels and a stair case on the middle. Staff were brilliant and the evening overall was great.
A lovely little theatre to do a workshop with my Rock Choir. Will keep an eye in upcoming performances and shows
This rating is for the cafe lovely home made fresh food and cakes. Clean and very reasonably priced with parking. It's our little haven after my daughter and I have been swimming and i go often with friends too
Comedy show really good, like the layout for the performance.
Went to see Rave on, A Tribute to Buddy Holiday.
Fantastic.
The theatre staff were fantastic, inside the theatre was very clean, well organized, was very nice to be able to go out and enjoy after all the COVID lockdown legislation.
Highly recommend more people go and use this theatre.
The prices are not expensive, we need to keep using places like these.
Local, so not far to travel, will definitely be back.
Never been before and was a bit worried about how it would be. I needn't have been worried. The volunteers were helpful from beginning to end. The show was fantastic and made me feel like a teenager again!! Lol So pleased that I went! Highly recommended x
We visit Hellends Cafe every Friday for breakfast. Good food cooked well at an agreeable price. What more could you ask for.
This is a lovely little theatre. It is well decorated. They have lots of variety of acts here. I came with my daughter to see a David Bowie tribute. It was really good. A little jewel in Burnham-on-Sea.
Very nice breakfast. Clean place and friendly staff. A good price for a good amount of food, which was cooked really well. Will go again. They also sell pictures, so here is a poem for the SS Nornen.
With the sand dancing and swirling
The wind playing the tune
The crash of the waves
And seagals flying low
over the dune
Here in Somerset
In Berrow, down by the sea,
The sun sparkles on the water
When the sea is free
There is a skeleton of a ship
That lie's stuck in the sands
From one stormy night
Of long ago, SS Nornen
Over one hundred and twenty years
it has lay there in the mud
Showing its bones to all
Just a reminder of the might
Of the sea, telling the people
Beware of me.
