Review The Blackwood Arms Country Inn - Burnham

Came here on a Saturday night. Everything was absolutely top-notch. Plenty of gluten-free options for me, I had the fish & chips and loved it. We live half an hour away towards London and we'll definitely be coming back. And I'll be having something else because the menu was so flexible 👊🏼

We had a beautiful lunch at the Blackwood Arms today. Staff were really friendly and helpful, the Sam the head chef came out several times to have a chat and his recommendations were excellent. We had two meals off the special board and another off the main menu, all of them were delicious. I would definitely go there again.

We visited for a lovely Sunday roast. Our meal was delicious, definitely recommend the cauliflower cheese! Service was great, friendly staff & quick service. Cosy setting inside with nice dog walks nearby. Overall a great pub - definitely recommend!

Delightful lunch at this pub, sat outdoors in the garden and had a great fish and chips that happened to be gluten free. Fish had a nice batter that stayed crispy and the chips were some of the best I’ve tasted, chunky with soft potato and crunchy.

We took our French relatives to the pub as we know how much they love a traditional country pub . The setting in the middle of the Beeches is wonderful and they adored the traditional interior with a log burner. But most of all they were blown away by the seafood grill which they said was better than anything they had had in France. Then we met the chef who comes from Marseilles. Thanks to our brother in law for inviting us for lunch as we know how hard it is to find a real country pub these days.

Such an amazing pub. Setting in the Beeches is so idyllic. Food and service is excellent. Only wish they would serve proper coffee. Always a favourite to visit when I’m England.
