Beautiful hidden gem, so lovely and the staff are so friendly, very helpful and always give me a lovely vegan meal and cake. Good choice of food and cakes, superb tea room, definitely not to be missed. I love it.

My son booked an afternoon tea as a birthday treat. Had a fab time. The soup, sandwiches and cakes were delicious. The owner and staff were lovely and very attentive. Would definitely book again.
Tea room heaven! Delicious food, made by the loveliest people! Cute decor , bunting, thought has gone into the smallest detail. Child friendly with books, lots of cake! I had poached egg which was made to perfection! The owner and staff are so friendly and welcoming. I love how it's slightly hidden off the beaten track makes it all the more appealing! Do not leave Burnley till you have been here!
Delicious wide range of tea, coffee, soups, sandwiches and cake in a delightful cosy atmosphere! Very friendly staff, beautifully decorated with bunting and everything is served in delicate china. The kitchen is very open plan too, if you fancy going up to chat to the staff there or to check out the baking!
Discovered this tea room by chance and what a find. The cakes were divine! We ate off the light menu but we will be returning to try the afternoon tea (you needed 24 hours booking prior). Thank you for looking after us, see you again soon.
Just enjoyed afternoon tea with a delicious range of goodies - sandwiches, cakes, tarts, scones. We were warmly welcomed into a beautifully decorated room for Easter by the owner and staff. We will certainly be going again.
My friend and I went today for our lunch for the first time. We both appreciated the lovely decor. The table refinery made it all the more special. Food was spot on. Very friendly service. Looking forward to going again, might even take my husband...WELL DONE SCARLETTS TEA ROOMS.

Amazing find. Please visit this place. You will enjoy every crumb of delicious home made fare and every sip of leaf tea. The owner is lovely and the staff are all welcoming. It's just off the canal towpath and you could not take a break from your cycle ride or walk at a nicer place
