Cheerful staff good food and plenty of choice. Very reasonably priced. If you want to take your 🐕 you do need to book as there is a small area put aside for these patrons and it may be fully booked at busy times.

We had the 2 meals for 9 pound and it was absolutely superb. From the presentation to the quality everything was phenomenal. And for the price it was exceptional! Was just visiting, and honestly wish I could pick the pub up and take it home with us!! If we are ever in the area again we will definitely be stopping here again.

It's a nice place to go but it's definitely not in walking distance for many. But as it does lovely meals and provides good service it's definitely worth a drive or *along walk. (*Only if you don't live nearby).

The best country pub I have ever been too, the food is gorgeous the staff are lovely, And the new decor is amazing. Definitely a five star ⭐️ from me. If your thinking about going here, you won't be disappointed, I can't wait to go back x

Six of us turned up a few days before Christmas and we hadn't booked but they managed to squeeze us in and really glad they did. There is a good selection on the menu and the food was really nice and quite reasonably priced. The waitress was very chatty and the service was good.

Excellent buffet provided for Mum's funeral. Very good service. Just beware the steep step when coming downstairs from the toilet - last step back into restaurant very big drop and quite dangerous (even without a drink!)
