Since Lisa has took over the pub is going from strength to strength. They don't serve food yet but atmosphere is amazing. They have some great music on at weekends to.
Lovely pub with lots of entertainment, darts, pool, fruit machines , live music, Thursday bingo. Never met such friendlier staff who above and beyond.
Had a great night out during the open mic night, really enjoyed myself, I am planning on going again for the next open mic night.
A pleasant pub situated by the canal. Down to earth feel. Staff were attentive and checked on us regularly for drinks. Table service (July 2021) which was fine with us. More of a drinking pub with good selection of drinks.
Sooo many gins! But decent selection of cider and beer also. Their garden looks out on to a canel, so when the sun is out it is bliss drinking.
Lovely place to visit and relax, staff were very friendly and helpful.
It was in one door with mask and out the other door wi th a mask but i drank my drink in the garden overlooking the canal and could smoke outside wich gave us more freedom than inside

We turned up here by accident and we was 10 minutes after they had stopped serving food. However they still accepted our order and made us feel at home. The food was good standard good portions. And reasonably priced. The scenery off the canal is lovely and dogs are welcome also. Absolutely fantasti
My boyfriend brought me here for a meal for date night. Inside had more of a local feel. And my boyfriend commented I thought it was better than this.. However we picked a nice quiet table looking over the canal which was quiet a romantic spot.. the staff was friendly.. our meals was really nice.. I
Called in on off chance as a party of six to celebrate a birthday. Looked a bit sparsely occupied, and we hoped we had made an ok choice. Ordered food, six shared starter platter and various mains (it was curry Monday), and we were all really, really impressed. Great food, good portions, great frien
Lovely pub great food.
Rocked up.at 10.30 on a Saturday and the place was relatively empty. But we were served with our drinks very quickly. The prices were really good. Maybe look at trying the food next time we go.

The old packet house is conveniently located at the side of the leeds/Liverpool canal.
It's a real locals pub with a warm friendly atmosphere.
My food and drinks were lovely and I found the staff to be very helpful and accommodating.
Usually come in on a sunday and am never disappointed with the great atmosphere. All ages of people and a dog or two. Beer is well kept and the people behind the bar are very friendly and attentive.
