Best steak pie that we’ve had in years! Fish cakes are also good.
Staff are lovely (Harry was excellent). Homely atmosphere, very clean and charming decor. Also beautiful garden and reasonable prices. Will definitely be coming back, especially in the summer when the weather is nice!
We went late afternoon, place was clean and tidy. Food was amazing but service wasn't great.
The girl behind the bar was clearly being forced to be there. No was her favourite word.
But they do have a dog ice cream machine.
Had an evening meal. Two very rare steaks. The chef had them out of the fridge to ambient temperature, then chargrilled. Fabulous. One had tarragon butter, the other had rosemary butter. The serving staff were very knowledgeable. Great experience.
I brought my mum in who has Alzheimers and limited mobility and Liam, one of the managers, couldn't have been more helpful! So friendly and welcoming. Even my mum said how good he was.
Food was great and Kai behind the bar was friendly and gave great service too.

Went here with my family for Sunday dinner. Great service and great food. It was our first time at the pub and we sat inside and felt comfortable letting my young children go and play on the park in the beer garden. Even the dog received an doggy ice cream! We will return soon.
Sunday Roast today and disappointed 😞. Beef was tough , nut roast hard and unable to get a fork through half of it. Vegetables limp and roast spuds only two and larger one uncooked.
Staff very welcoming and doggie friendly, nice children's play area. Only two staff serving and service was great despite this although chased the bill at the end to try and pay.
Food badly let down this very nice pub and inside was very welcoming and cosy. Lots of parking but don't think will visit again until they up their game on food.
Food was nice, I had the burger which was tasty but the plate was limited to that and a few chips. Mac cheese fairly bland (cheap cheese I guess). Service was excellent. Atmosphere let down by a foul mouthed young group and even younger kids (2ish) left to their own devices including throwing ketchup bottles in the bin and pushing other kids in the play area. Parents hammered and play fighting. Not the pubs fault!
Great pub with large outdoor space and benches to chill in the sun while the kids play in the playpark. Good food options and Sunday roast is a hit.
We were a large party and the staff were great- service with a smile. We had 4 young children with us who loved the play area and a good "kids" menu. Only disappointment wad that the cannelloni was not available and no other pasta option offered.
Fantastic evening, 15 people, all served with Fantastic food. Maybe a few more vegan or vegetarian options would be good, especially due to a lot of people opting for a non meat, dairy diet..the new owner is a passionate, positive and friendly person...nothing was too much of a problem...we will be going back soon..xx
