Myself and husband and daughter popped in Saturday 15th July in the evening for a few drinks and decided to have a bite to eat to set us up for the evening. We opted for the sharers selection so we could each try something different , order was taken swiftly and food didn't take long at arrive at our table , we was given cutlery and condiments by a very friendly staff member. The food was outstanding and extremely good value , once eaten are table was cleaned and plates removed. The whole pub looked well kept . We enjoyed the rest of our evening and service throughout the night remind swift and friendly , will most definitely return 😀

Everything a modern local pub should be, I'd highly recommend their carvery on a Sunday.
Saying "value for money" feels like I'm not giving them enough credit, the portions were huge, the variety was plentiful and the quality superb. I asked the gaffa who cooked it and he (rightly so) proudly told me it was him, Gordon Ramsey couldnt do a better carvery.
Great staff, great people, just simply great, if you are in the Winshill area and fancy a pint, I would highly recommend coming here

12 of our family had Sunday lunch last Sunday.
The choice of meats were excellent, the veg were plentiful and portions very substantial.
We all thoroughly enjoyed it.

Phil and Nicky run such an amazing pub ! I have been going there with my Friday friends for 3 years. Always so welcoming! Great food and service and always relaxing and friendly!
My friends and I had our Christmas lunch there today it was fabulous…. great food and service I will definitely book for next year.
