I was given a gift for afternoon tea for two and went yesterday. All the staff were very welcoming and friendly taking into account my dislike of mustard and nuts. Was given an extra tartlet instead of macaron. The food was delicious, had to take some of the sweet bits home. The brie and cranberry m

Absolutely the best pie we have ever tasted! Excellent place to celebrate my birthday, lovely comfortable surroundings and the staff were engaging interesting chatty and great fun. We will definitely visit again - Excellent parking for disabled drivers right out side 3 hours free!
We loved the Angel Hotel! Our dog was also made to feel welcome, with a water bowl in the room, and even a squeaky ball treat. Dogs are not allowed in the bar or restaurant, but we had delicious cocktails and nibbles in the lounge area, and Scooby loved the endless attention from staff and customer

The Angel was such a welcoming venue. Celebrating a friends birthday we were so well looked after, with some lovely birthday touches, a birthday plate and also a card left at the table. The food and service were both fabulous. I cannot wait for my next visit.
Great celebration for 10 of us at the Angel. The food was amazing and the staff were attentive and helped to make our afternoon special.
