Stayed here Saturday night , as the Christmas market was on.
Had to book well in advance as such a popular weekend. Arrived to a free parking space and a very warm welcome by staff. Had a wonderful meal here with great food and drink at a very reasonable price. Once shown to our rooms we where impressed. Warm , clean , cosy and very comfortable . A superb stay , then finished off by a great selection of breakfast.
We treated my Mum for a Birthday treat and we wasn't disappointed.

The best pub in Bury in my opinion. Friendly staff, great food. Quiz night is the highlight of our week, so much fun! Josh is a great host and bartender. 100 percent recommend if you’re looking for a great pub that feels like home :)
Stayed at bushel for 4 nights 16-19 July 2023. Staff very helpful and friendly. Thumbs up to Josh particularly for going the extra mile to help us out with Latitude parking pass! Food excellent and good portions. Comfortable room. Good pub quiz on Wednesday evening. What more could you want. Thanks for a welcoming and enjoyable stay
Great pub with great selection of drinks, welcoming staff and large and pleasant design and atmosphere. I would highly recommend to anybody to feed and water themselves here or book a stay!
We needed a place in the town centre and this pub was just the ticket. Clean rooms nice attentive staff with a good breakfast. We were visiting relatives within walking distance so it was ideal. We were able to leave the car in the free pub carpark and walk. Shall definitely return. And able to look around the shops which are on the doorstep.
Great little find. Was driving back from London and decided to stop in Bury for a bit. Stopped to get a drink and ended up having food. All lovely, especially the service. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
Our 4th visit to the Bushell. Went last night and was a great evening. Our meal was lovely, just what we needed after a long days shopping and was especially grateful to the helpful staff namely Maz who was so attentive and friendly. We will of course be back for more great evening meals whilst out and about. Huge thanks to all that make it so warm and friendly.
Really nice place! The rooms were lovely nice showers and the bed was so comfy!

I used to visit the bushel when I went to uni in Bury and it is such a lovely pub. It did not disappoint. We did a pub crawl starting and ending in the bushel. The barman was fun to talk to and it has a lovely atmosphere.
Room was clean and tidy, only 2 sockets in the room though. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was very good. Enjoyed the food in the pub too.
Great place, modern comfortable room if a little small. Never saw staff, contact less checkin removes the human part of the visit.
