I think they have one of the best burgers . Cheese fries were absolutely delicious, wings were soft and well cooked , no blood near the bones(as most restaurants serve them)chicken strips were crispy and tasty. Our preferences were respected by the staff and overall our experience was fantastic, we will definitely return. Prices are decent, staff is friendly and the atmosphere is nice. Highly recommend!

What an absolutely great place to eat. Me and the wife popped in last night, didn't have a booking, but it was not a problem.
We both had naked cheeseburger (much more healthy with the salad. Side orders of cheese and bacon fries and fried onion rings. It was excellent served hot and couldn't fault it 😋.
Excellent friendly service and a great atmosphere with a full restaurant. Only the second time I had dined at Byron's, would definitely be going back. Highly recommended 👌

First time here. Visited for my daughter's birthday. The burgers are great, I recommend the Smokey, although we Rarebit looked good as did C Rex.
Not cheap but worth it

Had a bunless burger- with cheese and bacon fries and onion rings as sharing sides with my other half. Such a good dinner. Left feeling extremely satisfied. The salad on the side of the burger was delightful and everything else was lush. Would I go back...defo! Thank you Byrons

Been here several times now, always amazing food and 5 star service. Can feel a bit pricey, but I personally feel the quality of the food is worth the cost - just don't forget to add fries to your meal!!
We had our 2yr old with us and they more than accommodated for him, we were offered a highchair but he was big enough to sit in the booth with us. plus the children's menu had lots of options and was matching quality to the main menu.

We ordered Easy Cheesy (Veg burger) and kids cheeseburger - absolutely delicious, and Oreo milkshake is to die for! Portions are quite large.
Toilets are quite a journey up the stairs, so although access to the restaurant is step free, toilet facilities are unavailable for wheelchairs users.

Staff were really friendly! Prices were reasonable! And the food was lovely! It was my first time at a Byrons, and it impressed me! I'd happily return and easily recommend anyone to try for them selves!

Really nice staff served us when we called in late recently, no rush to get us out, and the burgers were just great. Good service and no complaints here.
Veggie burger, onion rings and salad top notch.

I really enjoyed my burger here. Very good options for veggie/vegans and not just the generic options that you get at other burger resturants . Beef and chicken alternatives .

I’m coeliac and was able to swap wheat bun for a gluten free. Staff were very attentive to my dietary requirements and actually cannot put into words that eating here was a normal experience. Thank you.

Ate here before a show at the Apex. We had a choice of tables as it was really quiet. Our server was lovely, very friendly and attentive but not annoyingly so. Our meal was delivered swiftly and was nicely cooked we really enjoyed it. No time to test desserts. Next time hopefully. Several options for non meat eaters and those following a GF diet nice to see.

Great place to have a bite to eat when visiting Bury St Edmunds. The service was quick ,and my B Rex burger was delicious. Maybe a bit pricey, but worth it ,in my opinion.

My first time at a Byron's. Went for a late lunch for my birthday with family. My daughters have always raved about the burgers so thought I would try something different as I'm not usually a huge burger fan. Have to say it was bloody lovely!! I had the Byron burger with a side of sweet potato and courgette fries. I couldn't decide between the 2 so they let me have half of each in one portion The staff were lovely and our waitress was great. She very kindly gave me the most scrummy complimentary warm brownie with dark chocolate drizzled over it and a good dollop of delicious ice-cream - as it was my birthday. Would definitely go there again and recommend to friends

We went on a Sunday and five of us ordered a variety of burgers and sides , service was polite and attentive, the whole place has a nice relaxed mood with music in the back ground, our food arrived quickly and accurately and I must say every one was very impressed, I particularly liked the alternative courgette fries in a tempura batter as I can't have potatoes, so will definitely be going back and wouldn't hesitate to take friends!

You get what you pay for. Sure, BK is cheaper... but it’s mass produced mystery meat. These are hand thrown, quality burgers.
Very attentive staff too. I happened to mention that I’m gluten intolerant during my beer selection as I was asking if they had a corn beer. They went out of their way to make sure there was no cross contamination even though I assured them it was not necessary for me.

We actually are at Byrons at the ARC in Bury St. Edmunds the first day it opened. The burgers were delicious, as were the fries and onion rings. I like my burger well done and it was still juicy! The staff was very professional and the atmosphere was great. Since then we have eaten there a few more times and each time the quality has dropped. The burgers are dry and the fries and onion rings are greasy. The staff seems to be going down hill too. They stand around and talk among themselves while food is ready to be served, their dress is not as professional and it seems as if the customer is on their way. We will not be going back after this last time. It just isn't as good as before.

It's a good place for a burger the prices are a bit high as we bought a can of root beer for £3.50 it's just a can I do feel that is a bit steep.

Great service the food is great too would recommend to anyone who just likes that little special burger with trimmings

Amazing first time experience here! Will definitely be coming back! Reasonably priced for the quality of the meal, and compared to McDonald's prices it's worth paying the extra for a meal that's 100 x better!!
Stephanie Needham Perry
Great burgers, friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere. Great place to grab a bite.

The best burger I ever had!!! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!!! The service is excellent also!!!

The best burgers in Bury st Edmunds, great service. Would have given 5 stars, but it was so cold there I had to put my coat on!

Ate at this restaurant yesterday as we noticed outside that they had a lunch special othewise i wouldnt have paid those prices for Burger and Chips. Wasnt offered a Lunch menu and had to ask. All very tasty but really dissapointed that they charge us £1.40 each for a tiny pot of Barbecue sauce. If i had kown that they would have charged for it i would have declined. For what they charge for their Burgers, it should have been free. Wont make the same mistake again.

First time here and didn't know what to expect. Good choice of food but would have been nice to have a pint out of the tap instead of in bottles or cans. Food can and didn't look much atall BUT......
After biting into the burger and sweet potato fries my opinions changed! Talk about quality over quantity! Was really impressed and left feeling full to the brim. Will definitely return very soon
Well done to all the waiting staff and chefs for making my visit worth it
Jamie Murray
Delicious burger - great chips, beer milk shakes. Fantastic place for a family meal.

Rubbish. Overpriced. No veggie gluten free options. Food was greasy and overcooked. Nice staff though. Gourmet burger wins hands down
