After experiencing the pub for the first time, and opting to have lunch there, I can honestly say that my partner and I were left impressed. The food was amazing, and staff were very accommodating. Being a new home owner in the area, we are looking forward to many more trips to The Red House.

Great pub. Even better beer. Lovely place to consume a beverage on a cold winters night - brrrrrrr....

Delicious real ale—locally brewed—served by the friendly owner, Pauline. Full of locals playing crib and bantering about, this pub is a true gem. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

A lovely village pub. I had a pint of Guinness and for lunch had the pork sausages an mash with other veg. The portion was very good as were the sausages. I was going to have the chicken and bacon pie that looked great too but this ran out. My lunch was £8 which I think was brilliant value. The food was good hearty English fare and the amount you got for your money was excellent. As was the friendly service from all the staff. I will return.

Lovely friendly welcome. Nice seats outside but it was chilly so we went in. Nice vibe. Conversations you can join in, and that. Beer was well kept. Scampi fries: best from the past!

Lovely hidden gem which actually opened on a Monday. Perfect covid safety measures in place and ample distanced tables and plenty of tables inside and outside. Very friendly staff. Thank you for my great pint! X
