The Coffee House is an atmospheric place to spend an hour or two! It's a great space with a beautifully curated selection of products, many of which are locally made. I absolutely love the feeling of the friendly meeting place with a focus on the local community. The staff are very accommodating and friendly! It seemed pretty busy, and we were told when we ordered that there was a bit of a wait for food. As a server myself, I appreciate being told immediately about any wait. Our meals came out sooner than we were expecting! The menu looked good and had lots of options for gluten free or vegetarian choices. I was glad to find that they have gluten free bread- my egg mayo sandwich was tasty. (Next time I'm trying the gluten free bakewell muffin!) My husband and sister had jacket potatoes which were tasty and well portioned, but I think that they were microwaved which was just a tad bit disappointing. I'm not sure if that is normal, or if it was just because they were so busy today. All in all, I'd recommend going to The Coffee House! The mood is relaxed and friendly, the menu is simple but not limited, and the shelves are stocked with lots of tempting products. I could happily spend an hour or two with a coffee and a friend here. There is some room for improvement, but it is a brand new cafe so that is to be expected.

Haven't been here for quite a while, but it was like I'd only been in last week. A lovely place to have coffee and a snack. The service was really friendly and the food delicious, the sausage rolls are really good and the coffee, great.

Popped in for coffee and food with family while looking at a local children's nursery. The place has a great friendly local atmosphere which most coffee places lack a bit like something out of Cheers or Friends. Nice coffee, food and of course cake.

Super friendly staff in a very cool and modern location! The bakes are so fresh and tasty especially the sausage rolls which are brilliant (definitely ask for the mustard too).

Always have loved the Coffee House café's in Bury St Edmunds! This one is cosy and has got a wide range of cakes and food. Even though it may be a little pricer than elsewhere, you get the quality you pay for. The coffee and cake went down a treat.

Love this place, always get a scotch egg when I manage to get there early enough as they tend to sell out quickly. They did have a pop up shop in the library at one point and went every morning to enjoy scotch egg or sausage roll with a cup of tea while reading. Bit tougher to get to the morten Hall location as I don't drive but do always pop in when I'm over that way.

A beautifully presented cafe with a real family friendly atmosphere, the staff are very welcoming and as it should be the coffee was delicious. They had a lovely selection of freshly baked cakes and a wide variety of food on the menu, specially catering for those with dietary requirements. With current developments of a large car park and child friendly outdoor area it looks to get even better.

Great coffee and good food. A good sized café with ample seating inside and a few tables on the decking outside. The Coffee house's location on a national cycle route makes it a great place to refuel on both long days in the saddle and short family jaunts.

The staff were lovely and friendly the place was clean and comfortable. I didn't like the flies crawling on the cakes. All cakes should be covered with a glass dome, (I found the one in ixworth the same, cakes not covered.flies present )Sandwiches were good but not as we asked for chutney missing and roll was ordered but sandwiches turned up. I will try again.... should add it was last Friday we visited. It would be helpful to have a menu available instead of having to keep running back to table with a list of choices.
