What a fantastic pub...after being out walking and getting turned away from another local pub because we had a dog, this pub was very welcoming. The lovely staff behind the bar couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. The food was excellent as well, 1 had a burger and another had the chicken

I have to moan though about the portion of chips and peas..... like they were what I would say were child's portions.. a table spoon of peas and a handful of chips. My plate looked empty before

Went out there for my 49th Birthday with my husband Carl. Good food, came quick, good service - could not say more. I am disabled and was very pleased with the fact ever thing was on the ground floor. So this is the on on our Rammy route that will be a big tick! Thank you very much!

I've visited this place a few times and find it a great location for a pint and food after a walk up Holcombe Tower or even when there is sport on the TV. The outside area is great and they're a dog friendly pub. Great!

We had an excellent meal at the Hare and hounds last night. The star of the show was the Katsu Curry. Great atmosphere. The staff were excellent. We were made to feel extremely welcome. Well to you all.
It's a cheapish cheerfulish chain pup. Food was on a par with microwave food. Katsu curry was essentially a bit of breaded chicken with a microwave sauce dumped on top. It filled a hole.
