Food was lovely. As it was quite quiet we were chatting with the staff which added to a very nice evening overall.

Had a great time in here with my boyfriend on Saturday night. The waiter was so chatty and we just didn't want to leave not even when they had to turn the sign light off and nudge us out gently. Really good curry, best I've had in a long time. Nice and hot with lots of flavour. Superb
Lalbagh is a very friendly Indian and Bangladeshi restaurant with the best of reputations. Nothing is pre cooked everything is made fresh to order using the highest quality ingredients, and the staff and owner are extremely friendly and helpful. Do yourself a favour and either book a table or just turn up with your friends and/or family and they will be eternally grateful and impressed with your choice of restaurant.

The restaurant is small but not tiny. Tables are well spaced apart.
Lovely young lady called Jo greeted us & asked who's birthday it was. Throughout the evening she remembered our names too.
We were chatting so much took us ages to decide on our order & Jo did not rush us at all.
Drinks were ordered from a very extensive list.
We ordered starters, mains & sides.
All food was beautiful cooked & fresh to order.
Everything tasted great.
Gentleman that brought our food out was very chatty also.
At the end of the meal a lovely cake was presented to the birthday girl.
We ordered liqueurs to finish.
Everything we had was of the highest quality, tasted great & was extremely reasonably priced.
The people who work here are so polite, chatty & you get the vibe that they enjoy being there.
Can't wait to go back there.
This restaurant really is very worth a visit.
Really enjoyed our experience at LaBargh. We ordered off menu and our dry fried chicken Jeera was delicious (perfectly accompanied bij a Raita). The service was friendly and respectful. 😁

We had a private function here, and it was honestly excellent. Staff were wonderful, friendly and attentive, the food excellent and the prices reasonable. Highly recommended.
I took my husband here for his birthday. We have been here several times over the years. You cannot fault this restaurant. The food is fresh and tasty the spicy flavours do not drown the dish. Service is excellent with every angle covered such an enjoyable experience. No I didn't get paid to write this yes we will be going again. I had wanted to try The Pavilion but was told kitchens close at 7pm ?
Fantastic service, despite us arriving late around 10pm. Welcomed with open arms and served refreshingly chilled beers and Prosecco. Food was delicious, hot and fresh (whatever the spice). One of Watford’s finest.

I've been eating in Lalbagh for 7 years and have never been disopointed. The quality is still maintained when delivered. Staff are so friendly and helpful. The owner insures you are always looked after. Real good local Indian. 👍🏼
