Tartine Restaurant

Great value for early bird dining. It beats the in-town competition hands down! Granted this menu seems to have been more or less static this year and I end up choosing the same main dish (bacon based) but that's a minor gripe. I'd recommend the wine upgrade - so worth it for a small surcharge. Not sure about the vegetarian options though for early birds. Didn't sound very exciting. There's a parking area at the back but if full main street has a large free car park that's not too far a walk.

Excellent!!! Fantastic service - we were served by the amazing Cora - she really went out of her way to make sure we had an enjoyable meal! This is a really well run restaurant, top class food and lovely atmosphere. Have to book well in advance, difficult to get in, but it's worth it. Very reasonable, especially the early bird menu. Would love to make a return visit.

Without doubt, one of the best meals I have ever had!!! Notwithstanding that the portions are substantial but every course was delicious. However, the real gem of this meal wasn’t the incredible oysters Rockefeller, sublime Irish sirloin or the perfect chranachan but the magnificent Bushmills Whiskey and peppercorn sauce. If they sold this in take away containers, I’d have left with 5L at the very least. Cannot wait to go back and try the scallops…. The Hake…. And the sticky toffee pudding. Plus the staff and service is typically Northern Irish - really friendly and welcoming.
