Fantastic Gluten Free options. Never had one cafe/restaurant offered so many choices. Great tasting food. 100% would recommend this to everyone.
A great local cafe to visit, with friendly staff and a nice selection of food. This cafe also offers 2 and 3 course meals with senior discount, which makes it a popular place to visit. Fantastic experience here today. Not only do they allow dogs inside, they offer a bowl of water and have a doggy menu. The staff were great with our pup, saying hello but not over exciting her. The food was fab too. Will recommend and will be back.
Took my mum here and enjoyed a juicy homemade burger with bacon and Stilton, a pot of Earl Grey tea. They also do a doggy menu so I just had to buy some sausages for my little dog, he loved them. Student and good card discount offered. Top notch place that I always visit when In the area.

Excellent food, definately the best burger ive had in a long time. Hand made patties make all the difference! Doggie friendly and they even have a dogs menu with bacon bits!
Staff were pleasant. The fish and chips were very good & the cappuccino cake was delicious.

To my surprise there are no traditional fish & chip shops in Buxton ( according to Google) so as the Hydro was listed as serving f&c we called in and tbh it was pretty good. Staff were nice and the food cooked well and a decent size. Worth calling in if you're passing.
Food was delicious and best onion rings I've had in ages 😋 Lovely friendly ladies who served us will definitely be going back.
Just had the hydro cheese burger...it was delicious..then had the caramel apple pie and custard which was divine...its in a beautiful old building with lovely big windows to watch the world go by ...dog friendly too xx
Nice atmosphere, good food, good service. Great choice of dishes on the menu, was very spoilt for choice, catering for all diets. Had a slight problem with the order but was resolved very well
