Black Boy Inn Four & Six Restaurant & Bar

We stayed in a gorgeous room with beautiful historic styling that also had all of the modern amenities and conveniences you would expect from a 4 star hotel. We did not expect it to be so lovely here which blew us away. All of the staff were fantastic, all incredibly friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Ruth who was our waitress for our evening meal and made us feel incredible welcome and couldn’t have given better service than she did. The food was perfect as well, which sealed the deal on a perfect experience.

Didn't stay the night but had dinner at the pub twice during our stay in Caernarfon. Odd experience as the first time we ate there the food was superb, but the second time it was only OK. I had mac and cheese both nights - one night it was browned nicely and crispy on top, the second night it seemed undercooked. My partner had a veggie burger one night and didn't think it was very good, but another night had the mussels and said they were great. That being said, it's good value for money, the service was very good both nights and the place is lovely- nice seating area at the front of the pub, decent beer garden, lovely old cosy section of the pub and a newer restaurant, so you can really choose what vibe you fancy

Went here today (1.08.23) and my family had 5 separate meals which were all delicious. Really impressed with the amount of food on offer, on the menu. Ate outside which was great, as we had a dog. Really good service, staff very friendly. Well deserves a visit. Good value for money and food was fab.
