This little place was a quick choice to get away from the rain and have some coffee, probably not my usual coffee place but it was allrigt.
The look of it might need some updating but the staff was very friendly and helpful.
I think some of the bad reviews are just not fair and I am not giving 5 s
A genteel and delicious experience! Made us lovely sandwiches even though we came in late. Turkey and cranberry with home cooked meat. Cheese salad very good too. All served with a generous salad and tasty crisps. Staff absolutely delightful!
Nice and quiet compared to other cafés and absolutely amazing tasting coffee from there. Definitely would come back whenever we could.
Great small cafe, inviting ambiance, very friendly customer service at pocket friendly prices even though they are right across the castle. Also worth looking at their gift shop. 45 min free street parking is available right at their door.

Incredible food, very friendly staff, happily adapted a meal containing meat to be vegetarian, suggesting cheese combinations to compliment the meal. And to top it off, the cake is amazing. Very highly recommend.
Very friendly place with a warm atmosphere. We had good panini ans there's a choice of teas. Very close to the castle and the shop has an excellent selection of art, crafts and jewellery.
