Called by chance to request a reservation for evening meal for 11 people. It was busy when we arrived, but staff speedily accommodated our booking. Food was superb, all main meals arrived at the same time. Very reasonable! Friendly staff. We had a great evening!

Food quality was good at very reasonable prices. Place is kid and dog friendly. Service is unreliable depending on who is working that shift. We had dinner one evening and had great service, while another day we had lunch and there wasn’t any service, even though there was 3 of them working. The tables weren’t kept clean either and was sticky.

Although we didn't stay here, we have stayed before and we found the room functional but wouldn't plan to stay longer than a weekend. We do however, keep visiting for the food, bar and service. The chef really knows what he's doing, the bar has a good range of drinks, both well known brands and, a quality array or welsh ales and lagers. The staff are always a mix of experience and new staff but the relationship between staff and customers is second to none. Geographically, if you're going to visit Caernarfon castle, you really need to nip into The Anglesey. If the weather holds for you, the outside eating area affords an enviable view over the Menai strait to Anglesey too. A great place to round the day off.

Enjoyed a lovely weekend for a friends 50th birthday. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the bar and restaurant downstairs was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious and there’s a wonderful atmosphere. We were treated to authentic welsh choir singers on a stag do which made the weekend an overall superb experience. I would highly recommend staying here and eating in the restaurant. 5⭐️

Rooms are a good size need a spruce up but they do the job. It took us three in one room and it was with a wonderful view and they had looked after us. The breakfast was lovely a fully cooked meal vegetarian or with meat. The staff are very helpful and friendly. They do make sure you needs are met. They are busy and it can't take some time but it's fine. I really enjoyed my stay here. We wanted to stay longer but it was fully booked out. Amazing view. Beautiful location next to the castle and staff that do care. Yes the issue with noise from the drinkers downstairs can be a pain as they don't realise people are staying upstairs but 2230 is last orders and most punters leave by than. The fish and chips is great. The sword fish was delicious and the desserts are okay. I recommend here and if you find my review helpful please press like. Enjoy, thanks.

Popped by the Angelsey Arms for lunch and a few drinks. Location is superb, couldn't ask for a better spot. There was live music on which was great too. Food was good and came in generous portions, felt good value for money. Downsides are the staff could have been friendlier. Some were nice, but the girl who served us behind the bar a fair few times was rude- seemed like she didn't want to be there. They also had very few non-alcoholic drinks, just juices and squash. Would be nice to stock some non alcoholic wine or gin etc

Family of six popped in for food on a Sunday evening. Nice food, quick service. Sat outside after a meal listening to the live music, watching the sun go down with a drink. Relaxed atmosphere and full of character.

Really great location right by the castle with a view out to sea. Room was nice and considering the age of the building, they have done a good job of refurbishing them. Staff were friendly and asked several times if everything was ok. The breakfast was cooked perfectly and really tasty, was what we ordered and right on time. The only one issue was the lack of wifi in our room, but we could pick it up in the rest of the hotel. The pub noise was quite muffled and died down reasonably early and we had no problem sleeping.

Cheap and cheerful. Any one going to visit, no lift so u need to be able to climb stairs. Opposite the castle, and quite near to station for bedgellert steam railway

Could not find anything to fault the service we got. Room in an oldish townhouse within the castle grounds, few minutes walk from the pub, it had everything we needed in it. Parking right out side if wanted but we parked outside the pub, the pub is lovely well staffed, friendly, and right on the waters edge, had our evening meal there and wow it fasted absolutely beautiful, nicely presented, and full off flavours If ever back that way we will stay with you again

We recently ate here (seafood Thai curry and sea bass tempura) and the food was absolutely incredible! One of the best Thai curries I’ve had in years. Food was about £16 per meal (from the specials board) which felt reasonable. The beer selection is good too and there is plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the view. Would highly recommend!

Nice pub, nice view, nice service, food nice too. So what's not to like. Menu is quite small but then lots of specials. Dogs welcome. (Note break in service for food between 3 and 5pm)

Ate fish & chips with drinks by the harbour. Lovely meal in the sunshine. Good service. Crooner sang for a while. Only negative was having a seagull watching us (at a safe distane) the whole time and occassionally trying to move forward to nab our meal.

Local live music and sunset lovers, this place is for you! The bar is well located if you want to go for a walk to the beach and also easy to access and park (there is a parking les than 1 minutes away) The pub has an inside and outside. The staff was very nice and welcoming. We had booked in advance but not sure that was very necessary. In terms of food I would recommend the fish and chips but if you are looking for a good salad this may be not the place.
