First time here for over 30 years , and it's even better. Excellent service , the food is delicious. This place is perfect is perfect for date nights and romantic meals . Best to book as it gets busy 9/10 from me

Service was fantastic. The atmosphere was relaxed and we did not feel rushed. The log fire was a great touch, keeping us nice and warm! The menu selection was great and the food was outstanding. We both commented what a lovely evening we had. Thank you

Plenty of parking, makes a good treat after one of the many walks around Caerphilly mountain.

It was good, prices not bad. Service recommended. One needs to book prior visit. Plenty of parking with accessibility to all. Bathrooms available. Wish they could improve on birthday candles. Overall, I recommend Travellers Rest to everyone as menu is also accommodative.
Had an excellent Sunday afternoon meal here. Booked a table via their app. Our dogs were allowed in too. Food was excellent. Lauren was cheerful and super helpful in the bar. We would definitely come back again .

Very nice and cozy place for a coffee or food. We had Sunday roast and the vegetarian option was very nice. The staff is really lovely and attentive. We booked online which is very easy and they gave us a very nice table close to the fireplace. I will come back sometime.
I cannot fault the service that my partner and I received, from the welcome to the table service.
The meal was absolutely amazing, all three courses.
I would highly recommend to anyone.
