Lovely lockdown birthday treat, fish was delicious large portions not greasy at all, the chips again large portions not greasy.
My son had the chicken burger which he really enjoyed. I had a chicken portion it was cooked perfect not dry very tasty.

Beautiful fish bites and chips. We also ordered two rissoles. One was absolutely delicious. The other was totally overcooked and disgusting. I couldn't even cut it properly. It looked as if it had been there for a day or so..
UPDATE the lovely owner gave us a free rissole when we went for our week

Never had issue before ordered 2 curry rice and chips and seperate bag off chips only 1 of the curry rice had chips the did not had to seperate the chips between my partner friend bit disappointed
I often find it hard to visit a chippy and not complain about the overly greasy food but this has never been a problem when we have visited My Cod Fish Bar. We always enjoy the delicious, reasonably priced chip shop grub and drinks eaten in here and the staff are always willing to help.

The guys here are always super friendly and will try to accommodate any requests. If you live locally you can call to place an order then walk to collect it and they'll have it ready for you. Been here a number of times without any issues. I have a nut allergy and no nut oil is used.
