Great service, freshest seafood and lovely staff. We had a holiday seafood feast we’d been looking forward to! Shame they were out of crab so we substituted lobster. Oysters were plump and creamy with great flavour. Scallops were some of best we’ve had; sweet and tender but cut up. We tried the squat lobster as we’d never had before. They eat like a cross between langoustine and crayfish; the shell will rough up your fingers, but it’s worth the fight. All in all we had a lovely meal and the affable staff helped make it a special time.

We just stopped here on our way back from a nice day trip without reservation. No problem at all! The friendly service helped us within a minute. The interior is inviting, modern music plays in the background and you can just start to enjoy your food. Have a starter with a main course. It’s worth it. Enjoy! Thanks to the team for making the stay an amazing experience

Arguably one of the best places for seafood! Unpretentious and welcoming, the food is truly exceptional. Had Oysters, Scallop aranchini, brown crab and kedgeree. Hard to pick a favourite but the kedgeree and aranchini were both superb. We were lucky enough to get a table without booking, but would recommend booking if you're not able to come back later if there are no tables.

Oysters were really good. Variety of sauces and hot or cold oyster options available. Would visit again for that We had the fish and chips and fish cake for mains which were nice Service in the restaurant is really good and it’s a beautiful drive from Glasgow with great views

Excellent. Food here is always outstanding. We booked in advance so getting a seat wasn't a problem though I recommend you book in advance. One small blip in that my drink repeatedly got forgotten but I have been here enough times to know this isn't the norm. Highly recommend.

Exquisitely, artfully, and tastefully prepared. Salmon sampler was the best salmon we’ve ever had. Service was knowledgeable and attentive.

We prebooked for 4pm to have an early dinner on our way from Oban to Loch Lomand. Really pleased we did. We shared 6 fresh oysters and 6 warm oysters to start then lobster Mac and cheese and langoustines for main, paired with a bottle of reisling it was a great meal. The staff were great also. We also purchased some black pudding sausage rolls for lunch the next day which were also yummy.

We drove from Glasgow to Oban and this was our lunch stop on the way. Food was yummy & quick, our server was very friendly and attentive, and they have a great selection of wine. On top of all that the view is to die for. If you are near, swing in!
