Went out of season on a lovely day although quite I bet it gets very busy.
Brilliant location and a iconic building definitely worth a try, the service was great and the food was fresh and tasty.
Good choice of beers from the bar, lovely interior with a large open garden, easily accessible from the beach and town.

Tried the breakfast menu that has been recently introduced and it was stunning. Vegetarian for me and it was tasty and plenty for me. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely pub run by very nice staff. Campervans very welcome (phone before arriving.. about 9 spaces for vans). Food exceptional and very reasonable. Vegan options. Dog friendly. On the beach, which is a great walk all the way to Great Yarmouth and beyond. Will return.

Great location next to the beach . Very friendly bar staff, traditional pub food. Our dog was made a real fuss of. There was a large puddle in the car park due to the recent heavy rain but this did not get in the way of our parking spot and there was room to walk round to get into the pub. 4 vans parked up for the night.

Dog friendly / campervan friendly, old school pub a stones throw from the beach. Can't comment on the food as the kitchen was shut when I got there. But the staff were friendly. free all night parking for campervans. Some parts of the building could do with a revamp (toilets). Other than that all good.

The menu looked cheap and cheerful. But the quality and quantity of food was outstanding. Small cod and chips was huge! Burger was well cooked and tasty all done by one person in the kitchen!!
Friendly owners/staff who took time out to make you feel welcome.

Nice place, will visit again food was very good the staff where helpful and friendly. Back again this year 2022 already been here twice and booked a table for Friday. This place is a gem. The best place to eat and drink in the Great Yarmouth area. Back again 2023 still a gem, we Two more visits plan this week

We had a lovely family meal the food was very nice and very good value for money , we enjoyed the live music and several drinks I recommend the Sandy's gold lager it's very refreshing.

Went there for the first time today. The meals was beautiful really good portion size and the price's are excellent. Ian and Sandra the owner's and there gorgeous daughter J J made us feel so welcome. We're off back there on Sunday for there beautiful Sunday dinners they serve. Would highly recommend this lovely friendly family pub to anyone x

Just stumbled across the Never Turn Back whilst out on a walk, very friendly landlord and the pub is dog friendly too! Food is brilliant and in very large portions, can't recommend the pub enough.

Good friendly pub with great Sunday carvery. Nothing too much trouble for Ian, Sandra and their staff. Freshly cooked food from the menu coming out of the kitchen always looks appetising.

Lovely pub, very friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble. Stunning beer - discovered ghost ship thanks to the landlord! Food is very reasonable in price and excellent quality. Would highly recommend it for either a lunch time drink off the beach or lunch/dinner.

My husband and I stopped here for meal and drink. The menu was varied and well priced. Our meals were lovely. Served in good time and piping hot. The real ales were reasonably priced as well. We enjoyed a few pints of Ghost Ship . The staff and locals were all very welcoming and friendly. We'll definitely be back. Thank you.

We couldn't have been made more welcome by Sandra and Ian. We stopped over in our motorhome during the week and it was very peaceful. The food was top notch and there was a good selection of beer and drinks.
We will definitely be visiting again.

Holiday in the area every September, always visit the Never Turn Back, serves great beer, love the carvery on a Sunday, food very tasty had the cherry crumble today, it was delicious. Will definitely be back
