Lovely dog friendly pub with warm atmosphere. Really friendly staff and customers and the cheapest drinks I know of, anywhere. Would definitely recommend.
This is a fab local pub with great atmosphere, friendly staff and a lovely landlady. Nice to see it slowly getting back to how it use to be in there... Busy! Please don't be put off by silly negative reviews, it's a fab pub with a great beer garden too �

Friendly pub, plenty of seats available to enjoy the lovely sunshine and in winter a lovely warm fire inside. Friendly service and good all round pub. Only minus 1 star as the toilets desperately need an update. They were the same 21 years ago and haven't changed since. Hand dryer has a mind of its own.
We felt very lucky to find this pub. It is a brilliant drinkers pub. Good beer at very good prices! Nice charcterful pub, Quiz nights, jukebox, pool table and plenty of seating inside and out. It is a dog friendly pub, there is dog hair about. But with no food, I see no problem. Will definitely be back next time we are in the area!!
The beer selection is good, but the staff is even better. Friendly, attentive, and helpful. Plenty of room and a good atmosphere. Cheers!
