Brilliant traditional chippy with the best king ribs in the most crispy batter inc the fresh haddock . Will be on radar for us when travelling up west as stop of for tea .

Had a fish supper here last night. Have to say one of the best I have ever had. My son had the same and he agreed.
The food is cooked to order, so no fish sitting in a hot cupboard . The chips were superb as well.
Price wise, about average but the portions were very generous.
Other menu items also looked good.

Fish and chips were unreal,,,2 big bits of fish and loads of chips,, sat in to eat it and the plate was massive,, freshly made,,,up there with the best I think iv ever had 👌❤️

As a regular customer I can recommend the gluten free options 100%. Lovely staff, food is always really good (could add a bit more sauce on the chips though) by far my favourite chippy.

I'm local to this chippy and so have had several take-aways from here. Also dined-in once. Best fish and chips as well as smoked sausage. I really will be hard pressed to go anywhere else. Food is cooked on order so it hasn't been sitting around for ages. Friendly service. Decent portion sizes and reasonably priced for the amount of food. I would definitely recommend.
