These guys have really made an effort to make the visitor centre a welcome respite from the cold winds you’ll face visiting the stones. They even built a proper dry stone wall to house the exhibition. Coffee was good, too.
Tip: the COOKED BREAKFAST here looks excellent.

Lovely traditional style building set in to the landscape right next to the car park then it's a short walk uphill to the stones. The stones are free to visit so no need to pay. Thee are clear signs to ask folk not to climb the stones but sadly we did see some kids sitting on top, being encouraged b
It’s such a shame that they stopped serving hot food at 2.30. That wasn’t really clear til we got here and we might have been able to time it differently. At least 3 more disappointed couples / groups came in asking for hot food after us too.

Cafe staff and visitor centre staff all were really helpful and polite. This kind of standard of service always make my experience better than I expected. Thank you all.

A clean, welcoming cafe with nice food. The coffee was poor. I ordered a flat white and got a tall paper cup full of unfresh hot coffee.
Nice place. Good food. Only café in the regent. Pitty that there is no meal served after 14.30 am. At Uig we miss a café that is open in the evening.
