The business..the absolute business..this is without doubt the best food..service and atmosphere I have experienced in the 19 years I have lived down in Hampshire. It is impossible to pick out highlights of our visit and my daughters choice for my 84th birthday was on the button. Thank you to all concerned who made this birthday one to remember, once again thank you. I will return.

I went here with a meal with friends. The pub has an amazing atmosphere, the staff are so friendly. As a vegan I am always slightly nervous about food but what I ate here far exceeded my expectations. The best vegan burger I had ever eaten and the vegan cheesecake was delicious. One of our dinning party had some strict food allergies yet the staff were absolutely brilliant at asking about what she could eat and ensuring every course was safe for her to eat. I would absolutely recommend this place without a moment's hesitation

Great venue! If you get Nikki you are in for some genuine sensational service and hospitality. Food was very nice and bags of favour but the plate seemed cold which translated to only just warm and not hot BBQ ribs. Saying that they were delicious all the same. Desert was a better quality than that at similar venues around the local area. It worth going for the building itself but request a table not by the door to the gents!

We only visited as a rest stop whilst driving down to Dorset. It's a lovely looking pub both on the inside and out! We didn't have a meal so can't comment on that but we did have a bowl of chips and some crisps. Service was great. They also had an outside bar which made ordering quicker from the beer garden! It was lovely to sit in the shade of the big trees over looking the cricket ground next door. Kids welcome.

The food here is delicious and we found that the serving size was exactly right. The staff are wonderful; very friendly, informative and happy to talk. This is also dog friendly which is an added bonus for us. The dog loved it too! We will definitely be going back again so we can try some of the other options on the menu.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Crown & Cushion and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed with my meal. The food selection was great and the people working there were incredibly accommodating and friendly. I decided to go for the pork ribs mountain, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. With a whopping 2800 calories, this dish definitely lives up to its name, as they slice 2 ribs and assemble them into a mountain shape. But don't let the high calorie count deter you, as the taste was absolutely amazing. The ribs were perfectly cooked and flavorful, and the presentation was unique and impressive. Overall, I highly recommend the Crown & Cushion for their delicious food and lovely atmosphere.
