Great food and service, lack of parking.
Pros - crunchy beef fat-fried chips, large portion, delicious curry sauce available in hot or mild, fairly priced, clean and tidy café, polite friendly staff, the coffee was nice in flavour and strength, eating in the café the staff will also go to the takeaway part as well so if any further help is needed all you have to do is tap the bell at the till, were happy to provide box for remaining food as we were too full to eat and were able to take it away to finish later.
Cons - no parking so if you do takeaway you will need to park on double yellow lines. If eating in the café/restaurant use Aldi's car park but make sure you buy something from them first and check the time so you don't overstay and risk a penalty.
Only four stars for atmosphere cuz it's a chip shop night a night club. Lovely food and service. Will definitely be returning. Can get busy but it's worth it and a busy chip shop tells you it's good.
Best fish and chips I've had in years. Good variety of fish. I highly recommend the gurnard.
Great food, nice people and a very decent meal for a tenner.
We often have food from Kaths and it is always a good, fresh, hot meal. The food is freshly cooked and can get busy at times, but I am willing to wait on these occasions for good quality food.

Great tasting both the fish and chips.. rarely do i find a chippy where both the fish and the chips taste really good..They do here.. cooked and served just like fish and chips was back in the day when they were cooked in dripping and wrapped in paper..

The best chips I’ve had ever! Perfect! Good timing aswell, we use Deliveroo a lot only to order our fish and chips! Never one have we been disappointed, even tried the garlic mushrooms and wow they are good! Haddock is good , chicken is good! Not dry like many can be. PERFECT PERFECT !! Love love love! Highly recommend!! Don’t even hesitate! Order some lovely chips ! You won’t be disappointed
The staff are very friendly and have a smile on their faces and the chips are excellent, the sausage was very tasty. The staff are kind and helpful and polite. I recommend this chippy to everyone that wants something to eat.
The reason why I put 5 star rating is because the chip is always clean and tidy and clear menu to see and the prices are very affordable.
Absolutely delicious rang and ordered in advance and my husband collected so had no idea what to expect. Such a huge portion i couldnt finish it all. Very tasty fish n chips which is high praise as im from a seaside town in Yorkshire 5 stars
