The Corner House

Having lived nearby for a number of years and really enjoying the food every time, we decided to try a different experience…A roast delivery! We were sceptical at first because it seemed too good to be true, but it was genuinely absolutely amazing! Everything was labelled perfectly and piping hot. It could not have been better. We had a complicated order too with each person wanting a different meat. It was truly fantastic! We feel so lucky to have such an incredible pub with the most wonderful people and community on our doorstep! Thank you! We will be back again and again. We truly ❤️ The Corner House.

The Corner House pub is absolutely the best!!! Food always Amazing, I usually have their Sunday veggie roast but have had other Amazing meals there several times, highly highly recommend, everything so fresh and delicious 😍 Jo the landlady, Lorna and everyone are so friendly, welcoming and go out of their way to adapt food to what you need and would like. Great atmosphere too 😊 Thank You Corner House!!!

From Jo, the landlords first message we knew we would be welcome. Anyone staying in either the Premier Inn or the Travel lodge on the Newmarket Road should walk across the road and visit. Great food, huge portions and very teenager and child friendly. We went at least 2 nights while staying at the Premier Inn opposite.

Great eighties music. Had two lovely pints. The garlic mushrooms and pie and chips were incredible. One of the best meals I've had in Cambridge whilst working here for the last two months. It looks like your average boozer from the outside, though it is smart. Inside, though, it has been renovated well and has a quirky feel. Great menu. I am definitely returning as the food and beer is great and it'd a very comfortable and relaxing boozer. We'll done

Our 1st visit was for their Sunday roast dinner. It was delicious! We met the in-charge-of-the-house cat Iris. An infamous pub local. We enjoyed ourselves so much we went back for dinner on Monday. We both had their pasta dishes. Again delicious! This time we sat next to some regular locals who we shared stories with. Such a friendly & welcoming group of people. The pub is actually on the corner across from 2 known hotels. The pub is quite large with different dining areas. There is a huge back patio where they hold several events. If you are any where near Newmarket Rd. give this establishment a try.

Visited for the day from Essex and was recommended the corner house. I most definitely wasn’t disappointed. The staff are exceedingly helpful and friendly (in a cheeky and fun way). The food was incredible as was recommended the holy cluck burger. Great little stop off and reasonably priced. Thank you!
