Great place this. I also had a pint in an old style traditional glass which was a nice change. Beer or lager is always clean you can get really good quality pizzas here for the usual range of £11 - £15 odd.
Popped in for a drink, stayed for food and wasn't upset. Staff nice and friendly. Quirky pub, don't let the outside fool you. Good selection of beers. Food was really nice and not badly priced. Worth a visit for sure.
So far this is one of the best pubs I’ve been to for a while. The staff are great. The vibe is good. It’s worth coming here just for the pizza. The dough is light and crunchy with decent toppings. Definitely worth a visit.
Great pizzas for all ages, Tuesday is pub quiz night with good amount of questions that you are able to answer with average popular culture knowledge. I especially liked the guess rounds with a chance to win Tunnocks tea cakes and the Shredder BBQ beef pizza.
While the place can get a bit crowded and noisy, specially on mondays, it is a place I'd recommend anyone that wants to bring foreign friends along for a Cambridge Pub experience On Mondays you may need to book a table, since they have a 2×1 pizza offer, but the food is great and I'd recommend tryi
Fun bar to have a couple of drinks.they are famous for there thin pizzas wich are cooked in the back of the bar. They have a little mini super nintendo hooked up to a tv in the front.and they do quizes. I think they make it fun.good prices a nd friendly staff.they have a garden where u can smoke.no
This is the best pizza in the area by a mile!! Delicious fresh oven baked and swift service. We intend to go back regularly and the atmosphere is relaxed and staff are friendly. Veggies and meat lovers alike should be able to find a tasty meal: plus they do takeaway!!
Great and very authentic looking place. We were there on a Friday night, and I am surprised how pleasant and not too busy it was. Lots of tabs for draft beer, but not too much diversity in dark beers such stouts and porters. They were out of the coffee stout and the porter :((
I've heard this place gets busy, but we got there at a good time. This place had a nice ambiance, pub style. The food was served quickly, and had a nice bread crust. The gluten free style was a bit too crispy, but was very good for gluten free. There is buy 1 get 1 free on Mondays, and so the price
Best pub in Cambridge, lovely atmosphere, pizza and drinks. The gluten free options are great and the service is always fab
Really friendly, popular place. Attentive staff, kept clean between customers. I hadn't eaten here before today regrettably. Awesome pizza (I'd recommend the Heifer), lovely pint. Cambridge prices.
Hidden gem, Monday deals make extra worthwhile.
It's not as airy and bright as the pic shows, but I was there on a dreary dark day in winter. The staff was helpful and efficient; food good. I had a small pizza and a pint. Pretty good. The place is a busy pub. It is not going to win an award for pristinely clean tables or restroom. It is a pub th
I love the atmosphere in this pub. Also, one of the best pints of Ghost Ship ever.
Love the food. Love the quiz. Love the staff. Love the pub. One of my favourites in Cambridge!
Great customer service (we arrived 5 min after kitchen close but they made an exception) and the pizza was great. I’ve been here ~10 times, always great.
Nice pub with friendly staff and delicious pizza baked in a traditional oven Definitely worths a visit!
Decent parking options outside, as you can park along Tension road after 5pm. The beer selection is ok, typical Charlie Wells on tap, but quite limited. The pizzas do look incredible, so will have to come back and try them!
