We had a very enjoyable evening with members of our family.
We were made very welcome by the very good staff.
The meals were very good and thoroughly enjoyed .

We stopped by for a drink on a weekend afternoon. The staff were very friendly and the drinks pleasant. The kids enjoyed playing in the garden with other kids, risking their necks swinging out over the river hanging on tree branches.
The walk from Bottisham Lock is very pleasant with views over the river and fields. It would make for an easy walk for visitors to the village.

A place getting back to what it used to be before Covid. It took a bit to get back, but we've been several times this year and very good! Great atmosphere in the garden with nice views of the river. Can't talk much about food as the last time we ate there was last year and we left with the idea of not doing it again (but service, poor choices, etc etc)... but we think that management has been changed as it looks back to normal, so we'll give it a go soon (fingers crossed)

Delicious food! I came here with my mum for early dinner/late lunch. I had the smothered chicken (which was really tasty) and my mum had the battered cod (also tasty!)
It wasn't busy but we were waiting a little while for our order to be taken. Everything else was perfect and we'd definitely go again😊

Lovely pub restaurant In Waterbeach.
I really enjoyed my mushroom pie! It's great to find somewhere that does plenty of yummy vegan options.
It's right next to the river cam so when the weathers nice you can sit outside, really adds to the nice ambience.
Best restaurant in the Waterbeach area for sure 😊

We ate here for lunch. Although the car park was busy - there were plenty of spaces inside to eat. The outside patio area is also very large.
We were seated quickly. The pub has moved over to cashless,so we just ordered drinks when our waitress arrived.
Staff were really friendly and helpful too.
We didn't have to wait long for our food once we'd ordered it. A couple of us ordered from the specials menu and were pleased with their choices.
All the food was delicious, and we managed to fit in a dessert each.
These too were all very good.
A good selection of drinks on offer.
We definitely said we'd be back- and perhaps dine out on the patio area next time.

Wet night so restaurant was quiet. Food good but pricey.
Some very loud other patrons nearby, but can't be helped.
Been before when it was very busy on warm summer night so quite a change.

A Greene King Pub situated on the river cam with gorgeous calming views of the river.
Serving a variety of food there is something for someone including a dog station. This pub is dogfriendly and offers cool refreshment for our furry family friends.
For those with a bluelight card, bring it and use to get a discount 😉 in the words of a supermarket "Every little helps"
Lots of places to sit and huge carpark.
Look out for the submerged boat and "binky"
This pub will soon be cashless (at time of writing)
Lunch times do get busy and food is only served inside and patio only..
We stayed for hours sipping coffee by the river enjoying views.
Very much reccomended

I had a steak sandwich, which was freshly cooked. I normally recommend ordering from the specials to get a fresh meal here but was happy with my freshly cooked steak, from the main menu. There were times we struggled to get attention from wait staff, in the corner at the back, but they were always friendly and helpful.

Lovely pub sitting on the banks of the river Cam. I cycled out here along the river from Cambridge and was slightly suprised to not find a dedicated bike rack given the size of the car park, I was able to lock my bike to the fence though. The staff were exceptionally polite and friendly, and the beer was good, though a touch pricey. My pint of Madri set me back £6.35, though I suppose you're paying for the location. The garden was lovely, a real sun trap right by the river. There was a large grassy area reserved for drinkers, with food served on the patio. The majority of the inside was set aside for dining, but there was a dedicated room for those who just wanted a drink. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

Great lunch experience for our party of 4 today. Great riverside location. Attentive, but not intrusive, staff who worked well as individuals and as a team. Great food and value. Made for a very enjoyable get together with all our party having no grumbles whatsoever. Highly recommend.

Lovely pub on the river. Plenty of parking. Small bar area for coffee and bar snacks if you don't have a reservation. Saturday lunchtime was rather busy but a few walk ins where able to get tables. Dog friendly in the bar area. You need to go to the bar to order (I was in the bar area) however once I ordered I stood and waited for my drinks to see them being placed on a tray so went back to my table for the drinks to follow behind me. 🙃 staff friendly. My dish came out super quick.

One of our rare super hot days on our visit. And although our choice to sit inside we then thought inside was too warm but the staff were really great to get us sat next to the outside door! As expected terrific choice of food for a sensible price & all cooked well. Our waiting staff were very attentive without being intrusive & were really jolly.
