Loved visiting here, was made welcome from the start and drinks arrived swiftly. Order taken, food arrived in good time too and was well presented and oooooh so nice! Loverly atmosphere and our waitress Sarah was very attentive and welcoming will definitely be returning :-)

I had such a lovely experience at The Green Man in Cambridge this evening after winner next to nothing at the Newmarket races. Sarah was our waitress and gave us a warm welcome upon arrival. I ordered the Fillet Steak medium rare and I kid you not, this was nicer than any Miller and Carter restaurant I have visited. The steak was the right colour and was nice and warm upon arrival. I would say my steak experience was better than visiting a Gaucho’s steak house in London, COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF!!! This is my first visit with friends and will definitely return next time I’m in the area 😁 Mitchell and Butlers, please open a Green Man in or around the Basingstoke area! THANKS SARAH!!!

Visited with some friends for a midweek meal, very friendly staff, great service and great food. We’ll be back again no doubt. I had the whipped Brie starter which was better than expected. And the pork belly without scallops. Which was absolutely fantastic. The crackling wasn’t quite perfect but still very impressive.

Lovely friendly atmosphere. Staff were very welcoming and didn't rush us when they realised we were lovely ladies catching up with each other. Food was delicious, I had the beef brisket and cheese pie which was delicious 😋

Me and my family came here for a nice meal and we were blown away by the quality of the food- it was delicious, worth every penny! (I had the three cheese pizza with chitakee mushrooms) And the ambience and decor was so elegant. The perfect place to go for a fancy meal, we will definitely go again!

The food was magnificent. We sat in the garden Sunday lunchtime, it was really busy. Ordered using the app on my phone. Brilliant. Only thing was when the food was served, we had no cutlery or condiments. We sat for what seemed like ages with our food cooling, before the waiter eventually returned with them. Food brilliant. 5 spotless plates from 3 adults & 2 children... Thank you..!

The food was delicious, and a very pleasant atmosphere. Sarah was a great server, very helpful and accommodating. I have food sensitivities, and she was great at making sure my meal did not contain any allergens. A very wonderful experience.

Had our Christmas dinner here. Atmosphere was amazing. This place is so lovely, that fireplace in the middle is just great. Unfortunately all veg (green beans, sprouts, carrots) been absolutely undercooked it seemed like they haven’t even seen the boiling water but other than that everything was great.
