Possibly the worst costa for food and hot drinks I’ve ever visited.
Had a Brie & Ceanberry toastie which was barely toasted, and a like warm hot chocolate. Barely any cakes on display and no attempt at restocking even when quiet.
Was there 5 minutes before closing so not ideal, I know, but I should still be able to purchase a coffee. I asked the guy who had started an end of shift deep clean of the coffee maker if I could still get a coffee and he smiled and mumbled …

We are always fans of Costa coffee but we were especially impressed with the friendliness of the staff here. It was busy but the young lady still made time to talk to us. She was cheerful and friendly.
I usually enjoy visiting cafés where the staff create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, during my visit to this Costa, the baristas did not appear friendly or hospitable. A smile and a bit of warmth go a long way in customer service, and I felt this was missing here.
