A great menu and all that we have had so far has been delicious. The roast duck is divine. It is deservedly very popular, so even on a cold, Thursday it was packed. The service is very friendly and attentive, 3 different waiters asking if we need more drinks is maybe a bit much. Still better than the reverse. Great cocktail list, desert menu and easy parking. Looking forward to going back.

Had a really nice lunch at Onyx Cambridge. Started with bread and dips. The bread was delicious with a crunchy crust. Followed by pork belly which was cooked to perfection. Finished with a cheeseboard and a shot of Drambuie. This a high quality restaurant which is popular with the locals and travellers.

Excellent spot for lunch or dinner. Service was prompt and attentive. Food was well made and appropriately priced. And the establishment was clean. I would recommend going here.

We were looking for somewhere for dinner and most places were shut. We saw this busy little restaurant and were lucky enough to get a table by the bar. We ordered 2 drinks and 2 meals and spent about 100 NZ dollars. I had a steak pizza which was fully loaded and my wife had the lamb shank. The food was excellent, tasty and nice and hot. Despite being told there would be a bit of a wait due to it being so busy, the food arrived within 15 minutes. I am sure this place is always busy as the food was really good for the money.

We had amazing dinner here for four people. The food was outstanding the lamb shank delicious the chicken breast beautifully cooked the whole meal exceeded expectations humorous. With very generous servings. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!!!

Totally recommend them. The food was excellent. Lunch was so good that we went back the same day and bought a takeaway pizza, which was also excellent. If we had stayed in town longer we would have dived deeper into the menu. Excellent.

Very awesome food, good atmosphere, great service and staff. Well set out restaurant and we didn't need a reservation. The desserts looked really yummy but I was too full to have one. Worth going to
